Actually, IF Mugabe’s sincere about this....(even though, yes, I agree, he’s a monster) the dictator is just showing a normal, typical, African view on sexual perversion—and the perverts that promote it.
Just a generation ago—perhaps without the severe punishment angle—Americans and Europeans—along with all civilized people—felt the same way.
I believe the Soviets and Communist Chinese always had (and Russian and E. Europeans, & Chinese still do?) a similar, almost Puritanical, attitude toward sexual morality and perversion... Sensuality and moral degradation was always something they criticized the West for (whether deserved or not...in the 1950s and before).
People are right though, this doesn’t make Mugabe any less of a truly evil, murderous man.
