A west Georgia business owners sign that he is not hiring until President Obama leaves office is going viral, according to a local Georgia television station.
"New Company Policy: We are not hiring until Obama is gone," read the companys signs on the side of its trucks, according to the station, 11Alive.
"Can't afford it," explained the employer, Bill Looman. "I've got people that I want to hire now, but I just can't afford it. And I don't foresee that I'll be able to afford it unless some things change in D.C."
Looman's company is U.S. Cranes, LLC. He said he put up the signs, and first posted pictures of the signs on his personal Facebook page, six months ago, and he said he received mostly positive reaction from people, "about 20-to-one positive," the station reported.

When a business has to lay off someone they should lay off the idiot that voted for Obummer. We have to make those idiots pay for their stupidity. I surmise from watching Jay Leno’s man in the street surveys where he interviews stupid people - I’d wager 95% of them are lefties.
"I told the people of my district that I would serve them as faithfully as I had done; but if not ... you may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas."
I’ve read a great deal of history in my life (I am now 60), and continue to do so to this day. It is by far my favorite subject.
Your numbers are not too far off. The consensus among historians is that the population was evenly divided by thirds as to their respective positions vis-a-vis the Revolution: 1/3 supported it; 1/3 opposed it and remained loyalists or Tories; and 1/3 just too a wait-and-see attitude, or didn’t care a whit omne way or the other.
Throughout history, in all lands, that 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 division seems to be a constant when the question of revolution arises. It is interesting.
I pray it catches on and more businesses post the same sign. If I were Obie, I couldn’t think of anything worse for my reelection chances. SEND THE MESSAGE !
just too = just took
omne = one
(Guess I need some more coffee. Spell check didn’t catch it, either, so perhaps I should get it a cup, as well.)
Employment is not just about current employers hiring people, it’s also about the many lost opportunities from entrepreneurs that fear the hostile business environment that America has become. People like those at OWS and in Washington, like Obama and Pelosi and the democrats in general, are what’s keeping the economy in shambles and employment so high.
I imagine that there are many people, who are hesitant to start a business and hire people, because of how costly it would be with so many regulations and so much red tape and the high costs of employee benefits, especially the high cost of Obamacare looming.
I, myself, have an idea that I would like to convert into a business, but, I can’t bring myself to investigate it further until the economy improves and the anti-capitalism crowd in Washington and elsewhere are neutered.
Yo ought-six—Thanks for the post. I know the 1/3, 1/3. 1/3 formula is more or less accepted as most true. I’ve an aversion to putting humans in such well defined categories.
We are a very complicated specie.

I’m not surprised, and if true is a crying shame and a crime. I hope that he contacts his congresscritter and senators and raises a big stink.
That was my reference. I love Bastiat and that he’s not taught to every school child tells you just how rotten our education system is. Kid’s should read and reread his works.
Love the Chinese proverb.
It is not the amount, Colonel, that I complain of; it is the principle.
You'll be disturbed to know that the AP (Advanced Placement) Government class doesn't teach the founding principles in fullness and they are given short shrift. Our future elites never learn the Founding Principles in their glorious fullness. Then we wonder why things get so backwards.
