Yes.
All they have to do is go home and apply from there to come in legally, at the end of the line BTW.

Wow when you have to go to Uber Leftist website like MNBC to find online polling data to validate your “Conservative” candidate’s position, your campaign is in serious trouble.

Should illegal immigrants who have lived in the United States for many years be allowed a pathway to live in the United States legally?Yes, as long as the pathway starts in their home country. Since that was not an option, I voted no.

They already have a pathway to live in the United States legally. It is called an application.
I understand there is a large backlog of applications for legal immigration, but maybe they could be processed a little faster if illegals didn't demand and get preferential treatment.

First build a fence, get US borders under control and then we can talk about what to do with the illegal aliens already here.

Oh, so if you manage to break the law for a long time without getting caught, then you get to be rewarded?

Yes I know, really cruel of me to force you Newt Cultists to stay with arms length of reality.
I see you have moved on to tactic #4. When all else fails, lie in order to divert attention off your Cult Father's Newt's gaffe.

Folks should learn the details of Newt’s plan and then contrast that with lack of realism in their own approach.

If they're here for that many years, they are de facto legal residents.
No citizenship for any illegals ever!!
No right to vote!
I can support that.

Define “many”.
Is it 25? What about someone who’s been here 22 years? Do they have to go home, or do they get to stay?
What about seventeen?
Ten? What about a guy who claims to have been here for ten years “living in the shadows” and has no evidence?
What about a guy who’s been here eight years and his wife 5 years and they’ve got 4 kids, ages 12, 10, 6, and 3? Do they all get to stay?
Here’s the solution: Vigorous workplace enforcement and denial of welfare benefits to ANY illegal alien. Dry up the work and the benefits, and they’ll go home.

That’s it go to the end of the line! Stop giving citizenship to anybody who happens to be here and has a child!

We already have a pathway to citizenship. It doesn’t involve sneaking across borders.

Folks should learn the details of Newts plan and then contrast that with lack of realism in their own approach.BTW, I didn't mention Newt, but regarding lack of realism, let me say we can get rid of most illegals simply by cutting off the magnet(s). This can be done without our having to become a police state or having to round up 12 million people.

Let’s check the logic here.
I committed a crime (robbed a bank, stole a car, burglarized a home, ect), I’ve been on the run and have not been caught for ‘x’ years, nor have I made any restitution for the consequences of my actions.
- does my crime get forgiven?

I like the proposed bills that would revoke a company's tax licence after the second time they are caught hiring an illegal alien.
