November 22, 2011 - Gingrich On Top Of GOP Pack As Cain Fades, Quinnipiac University National Poll Finds; Romney Ties Obama In One-On-One Matchup
Word format
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich more than doubles his share of the Republican presidential vote to lead the presidential pack with 26 percent and in a head-to-head matchup tops former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney 49 - 39 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today. But Romney is tied with President Barack Obama.
Former pizza magnate Herman Cain drops from the top spot with 30 percent in a November 2 national survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University to third place with 14 percent today. Romney goes from 23 percent November 2 to 22 percent.

PinG!
Survey sample size is approximately 2,900, with almost 700 likely Republican caucus-goers. Indianas TeleResearch Corp., which has been polling voters for more than 18 years, reports that the margin of error is less than 3%.
I would rejoice if Romney finished fourth. LOL
I love it!
RON Paul?????
I think Cain is on his way back up. We'll know in six weeks.
Let’s see how conservatives respond to Newt’s progressive ideas on amnesty.
Newt is going to win, our country is going to win and my grandchildren are going to win.
As for Romney being tied with Obama... LOL, Newt is going to walk all over that and leave Romney in tears.
Go Newt Go.....
After Newt finally let it slip out what he really believes tonight and how he supports left wing causes his poll numbers will be dropping and people will take another look at the real the few real conservatives running....
Lets hope they come to their senses and dump these these liberal establishment republicans like Newt and Romney once and for all.
Perry was on top until he started talking about illegal immigration too. With Rick we were heartless. With Newt we are not humane.
After listening to Newt tonight, I’m beginning to think he is more like Mitt Romney than the man himself.
Sure praying so.
I'll SECOND THAT. I share your optimism.
Newt wins, Obama will be president. Calling it now.
I wouldn't, I want him to finish dead last, or next to it, along with Huntsman, and send a message to every RINO governor or senator with dreams of the white house, that you can NOT even be competitive if you govern or legislate like a RINO. If you do, then this fate awaits you.
To be honest, I'm actually concerned that he might finish 2nd or 3rd, which will only encourage other liberal republicans to go left, and follow that route thinking they can be successful in the GOP presidential primaries.
Crow doesn’t taste very good, may need some sauce.
I'm convinced that if Mitt or Newt get the nomination, then Obama will win.
1) Mitt will not get the conservative vote since he is flip flopping say anything Liberal at best and a Socialist (think Romney Care) at worst. So basically the choice is Mitt Liberal/Socialist vs. Obama Marxist/Socialist
2) Newt is too polarizing to most voters like Obama. However, Obama would have the advantage being the incumbent. Most people are just not going to vote for an old pasty fat white guy that is extremely controversial. Advantage Obama.
Cain is about our only chance. He may not be as smooth, but will be okay. He is conservative enough and a big change compared to Obama.
Bingo and well said
I’m calling it now, Ben. You’re wrong.
But, you’ll get used to it and you might even like it.
