I was on the fence, but now I can comfortably say adios to Newt. We don’t need any more “Compassionate Conservatives” bending over for the left; that’s what put us into this hole. I don’t know who will get my vote in the primary, but I know one who will not.

The borders could have been controlled decades ago. People here legally are still expected to obey the law, the paperwork, the timelines . . . yet people of all classes continue to game the system with border crossings, fake marriages and the like and the rest of us poor souls are just supposed to grin and bear it

That is why I rank Newt with Mitt. Newt talks better than Mitt, but neither has a conservative heart. If either wins the nomination, you’ll see them shift left with blazing speed. They are politicians at heart. Period.
Shouldn’t we let all of the inmates out of our prisons and jails? After all, they have families too!

As an American citizen, I would toss them in a minute. As for separating them from their families, I would not. I would send the entire family back to the countries they came from. The children born here can come back when they are of age.
I thought it was kinda funny that he went from talking tough and saying we can’t compromise with the left to seeking compromise on the border.

A crime is a crfime no matter how long ago someone committed it. Anyone who came here illegally for any reason whatsoever, the rule of law must prevail! Or we become a rule of men, which is the fast route to destruction.
