Barack Obama, in his first press conference as president, February 9, 2009 :
My hope is that after a difficult year and this year is going to be a difficult year that businesses start investing again, they start making decisions that, you know, in fact theres money to be made out there, customers or consumers start feeling that their jobs are stable and safe, and they start making purchases again. And if we get things right, then starting next year we can start seeing some significant improvement.
Barack Obama, on the trail* today :
Were going to have an America where everybody has opportunity. And thats going to take some time, because our economic problems werent caused overnight and they wont be solved overnight.
Its going to take time to rebuild an economy where hard work is valued and responsibility is rewarded. Its going to take time to rebuild an economy that restores security for the middle class and renews opportunity for folks trying to reach the middle class. Its going to take time to rebuild an economy thats not based on outsourcing or tax loopholes or risky financial deals, but one that is built to last, where we invest in education and small business and manufacturing and making things that the rest of the world is willing to buy. Let me be among the first to say FUBO!
I take my dog or cat to the vet to have it “fixed”. Obama will do the same to the economy.
I heard him say something today about letting the little people put more money in their “pockets”. You know you’re in big trouble when a politician knows where you’re keeping it.
Let me second your FUBO!
I think he has fixed the economy enough. ;-)
That’s the ticket! Four more years of the same s#$t.
Yea, fix it like you would fix your dog . . . which is really to break it.
You beat me to it! Guess it pays to read ahead before posting (even on threads with only a couple of posts on it).
Wrong “F” word in the headline. It sure ain’t “Fix”. More like “beginning with “f”, rhymes with duck”.
Yes, fix the cadaver of an economy in formaldehyde.
My HOPE is the capital strike continues until you are a festering and shameful memory.
I will hire no one till your hand is out of my pocket, your face is finally off my TV Screen, and people succeed in pretending you were never born.

And as a consumer, I will buy nothing but the bare necessities of life until this Marxist creep leaves the White House.
Our family will be celebrating another Christmas by only buying gifts for the grandchildren. We are saving money for the coming wave of inflation caused by the Worst President Ever.
Even Chrissy Matthews knows that’s a non-starter!
Zero, STFU!
We HAVE a country of opportunity. Where the he11 have you been?
Nevermind...lying pos.

Why should Federal Taxes be used to pay for any of this ? And why hasn’t anyone told this Idiot that we are BROKE !
I hire when I have to hire, not when government tells me to do it. Right now, no thanks to the government, business is booming and a few hundred people have been hired.
‘Let me second your FUBO!’
All in favor say “aye”!
