Several times, Newt explained that he was strongly in favor of deportation. He gave exceptions for otherwise law-abiding citizens who have long since established family roots here.

Nobody else on stage mentioned actual deportation but Michelle Bachmann.

Indeed and I saw nothing of blanket amnesty in that response as others are trying to state.
