RUSH: From the Los Angeles Times: "A teenager who fatally shot a gay classmate in the back of the head during an Oxnard middle school computer lab will spend 21 years in prison under a plea deal reached Monday, closing the books on a case that drew international headlines and ignited debate on how schools should handle sexual identity issues.

THAT Larry King does a great impression of a dead man.
I worked with a guy like that. Or they get locked in a closet for a day or two.
Also, went to an open house at a house for sale that had locks both inside and outside all of the closets and cupboards.
Disgusting.
That’s the first thing I thought when I heard him earlier. “Larry King is dead? What, did he try to take his show back from Piers Morgan?”
If the the kid, Larry King, supposedly had a civil right to act out in a homosexual manner by dressing like a girl and sexually harassing other boys what happen to the civil right of boys not wanting to be sexually harassed?
We are living in abnormal times. I have long said that were it not for Modern Medicine and Modern communications, Homosexuals would have experienced a massive "die-off" and nobody would have known why. All that would have been remembered was that they were homosexual and that they died of a mysterious diseases.
As it should happen, Medicine discovered the cause, and Media informed enough of them to slow down what would have been the usual effect of the disease. (an epidemic hitting this specific group.)
I suspect events like these have struck the homosexual portion of the population many times in the past. The "Georgian Era" of England was punctuated by mass die-offs of sexually irresponsible people, and as a result it ushered in the subsequent Prudish "Victorian Era."
Anyway, what I am getting at, is that there are a lot more of them around than there ever have been before because many which would have ordinarily died in the past of some horrible disease are still alive and working to spread their meme.
I suspect God or Nature is going to re-balance the scales someday and it's not going to be pretty.
A lot of hetero men are grabby, too. Think of Julian Edelman.
Having passes made at you is one thing. But, when I was 17 I was accosted in a grocery store in Northern Virginia. A guy came up to me and put hands on me and made some very disgusting suggestions.
He then shoved me against the freezer doors and tried to basically molest me. At this point, I had been resisting but then I just said to hell with it and the fight was on. I kicked him into the open cold shelving section and went to the managers desk and asked that they call the police.
Long story short, I was blamed, the gay guy said I started it, I was barred from the store and threatened with prosecution. All because the manager of the store didn’t want to seem prejudice against gays. Never mind that there were witnesses and the store security video...
If someone wants to be gay, that’s their business. I don’t appreciate it being forced on me and I don’t appreciate how they are being treated as a special class of citizen. I’m heterosexual. I like women... a lot actually. I’m not gay or act gay. Yet, the audacity of the person that accosted me still offends me.
I guess my point is this. A gay guy can say, “hey, I find you attractive, wanna go out?” or a gay guy can violate your personal space and accost you. Either way, it can be called making a pass. The former doesn’t bother me, the latter will get someone’s @ss kicked.
Darn.
No kidding. You turn down gay guys the same way straight people turn each other down. “No thanks” “Not interested” etc. In a school setting you go to the staff if another student continues to harasses you.
You do not shoot him in the head.
For what it's worth, there is this bit of news.

I’m truly sympathetic to your experience. Times have changed since I was fairly young - the ‘80s - and gay guys still got beat up and fired for coming on to young people.
Sadly, it’s this kind of horrible experience that turns most of us off to gays - particularly men.
Thwarting Mother Nature always backfires. It’s not just AIDS or other “modern” diseases, the list of diseases and conditions rampant among homosexuals is long and gruesome.
Women homosexuals are running normal women out of the military. It’s very bad.
I’m surprised nobody’s posted a photo from last week’s Craig Ferguson show of the robot skeleton wearing Larry King’s suspenders, shirt and glasses.
I find it kind of ironic that a gay individual with the same name as a pedifile, THE famous Larry King, is murdered for being something that was probably beyond his control as a human. (Larry King NAMBLA re: “Murder In Nebraska”)
I understand what you are saying. Hard though it is for most Freepers to understand, there are mature gays who will back off.
But, of course, this story involves a pathetically-confused young, immature boy who came on to confused young straight males. No school should allow this kind of intimidation of young people. Horribly, it lead to death. What a waste.
How many eggs to we have to break to get a rotten, sulphurous omelet?
“How long will Larry be dead? This guy is going to still be a young man when he is free as a bird after killing a 14 year old boy. And will probably really never see 12-14 of those years in prison.”
You realize he’s gotten a longer sentence than most murderers? Also, that he was a minor?
“You realize hes gotten a longer sentence than most murderers? Also, that he was a minor?”
Does that make Larry less dead?
I never said that heterosexual men don’t have impulse issues. However, most MATURE heterosexual men don’t live their entire life thinking of their next score and how to satisfy that ONE urge!
