Chelsea is as well qualified as most of the talking heads on the media today--which is to say, not at all.
Mika says there’s no way she is capitalizing on having famous parents. So there.
TV is a harsh taskmaster..a tough medium. Also, the camera has to “love” you...in CC’s case..it doesn’t. I predict that her first few interviews will be widely ridiculed...and soon after she’ll phase out of the position..to go fight global warming in the Sahara Desert or somesuch..
My company used McKinsey so I remembered this job. Never could figure what qualifications she brought to the table.
Balanced nepotism is the key here. NBC already had the Bush girl so they needed Chelsea to bring political balance with the current “royal” families of American politics.

and what about her management job with the Soros controlled hedge fund she landed a few years ago? Was she so bad they fired her??
Like that matters. Besides she is a registered, left-leaning democrat. These days that is all the qualification one needs to join Obama's enablers.
But seriously. One thing she does have that a lot of entry-level people do not, is a name that will open doors for interviews. And it is not her fault she has that, but she is entitled to use it.
How she gets the job may not be as important as how she performs on the job. Who knows if she can do the job or not. If she can, then she keeps it. She is not the first person whose parentage enabled a good job in journalism. Think Steve Forbes. Mike Wallace. Even Peter Doocy, from Chelsea's own generation.
Is her husband still off being a ski bum?
An embarrassment to Hillary, should she ever take the time to calculate and assess reality, would be the vacume of accomplishment tied to anyone named Chelsea Clinton. What does exist in Chelsea’s resume has first been bought and paid for by Hillary at no small expense to be created out of thin air.
It is pretty outrageous that Marxists tout the rules for thee, but not for me. Hillary is among the best at it and shares plenty of company, along with BRACK himsef and Pelosi.
