Right. Now Freepers think its immoral for a private business to make money?
Freepers think it's great for private business to make money; I know I do. Most also make a distinction between honest and dishonest work. My problem with Newt is his influence-peddling, his work to secure changes in public policy that economically benefit those who pay him, regardless of the national interest. His work to facilitate passage of Medicare Part D is a good example.
That said, I'd vote for him in the general election if he got the nomination. I find Newt's integrity suspect, but I do not find him politically abhorrent, as I do Romney. I think that if Newt got elected president, grassroots conservatives could keep his worse tendencies in check with appropriate pressure. I can't say the same for Romney.

Newt wants Mandates always has always will. He said so in May of 2011. You want a mandate I don’t.

Of course I do not support Gingrich. He is a long time supporter of Obamacare. That is how he made all of this money. I do not support obamacare and I will not support Newt because of his NewtCare.
So if you have no problem with Obamacare then vote for Newt.

DUH pretty obvious, no need to state that you don’t support him, you are on here every day posting anti Newt threads.
My question is who are you working for?

His stance is that if it comes down to Mitt or Newt, he will support Newt.

So Newt was a great success. We can't have that. Bust him. How can anyone support a candidate who sets out to accomplish something and then does it? If Newt was a real conservative he would apologize for succeeding and withdraw from the race.

He's selling insider intellectual information to LobbyistsAnother insane and irrational delusion from the Gingrich derangement brigade. See your doctor, n2w, he has some new medication he wants you to try.
Oh, and please, just get some rest and stay away for a long time. You leave a bad smell.

Influence peddling, when he was out of office for years? You need a reality check.
