Good Morning America on Monday repeated White House talking points in regard to the booing of Michelle Obama at a NASCAR event on Sunday. News reader Josh Elliott played a clip of the booing and then parroted, "The White House says it was a chaotic event. It was not clear, perhaps, what the boos were specifically for."
The Today show didn't cover the event at all. On the Early Show, Jeff Glor linked, "Some people booed [Michelle Obama and Jill Biden] when they showed up last night. They were on hand to honor military troops and their families." So, is the implication that NASCAR fans were booing the military?
Co-host Erica Hill later repeated, "At other sporting events, this has happened as well. Not everybody always happy but they were there as part of their joining forces initiative to highlight military families."

it will be up and coming... but they won;t report that Cain would be applauded.
at my youngest sons soccer game and there is a woman who feels that her liberal views are so important we all have to hear it and how the right are NAZIS.
I pulled her up i front of her friends last week and asked if Cain is dumb because of the Libya comment and Perry is dumb due to his comments about which dept he would cut then does it make obama dumb because of the 57 states, Corpse instead of corps, Sioux falls and sioux city etc.
“ no, Well he’s smart , he went to Harvard she said”
I then asked based on what , what grades did he get at school then?”
No answer.
This past weekend at the game she shut up and never said a word LOL
Dear Josh,
That was mild compared to what the booing would have been had the military NOT BEEN THERE!
Moochelle and Dr. Jill used the military for cover! Most people don't show up where they aren't welcome!
You’re correct. They didn’t dare put them out in the open.
Back in either 1992 or 1996 Clinton went to Atlanta which was then the last race of the season. When introduced you could hear the crowd boo in the background plain as day on TV.
These stupid people don’t learn their lesson about messing with NASCAR fans.
On the other hand whenever Reagan or either Bush attended the people couldn’t cheer loud enough.
What IS clear to me is they didn’t put moochie there by herself.
There wouldn’t be any question about boos and their intentions.
Another leftist trick. They’re all snakeoil salesmen, smoke and mirrors.
What kind of man would send his wife to get boo’d?
Oh crap, I have to be around these people?
I’d rather be eating caviar and setting on the beach in Spain.
Good thing I had my shots.
An excellent point and correct perspective.
She probably has her headphones hooked up to her iPod and listening to Common.
Of course they would. The only one worth their salt at ABC is Jake Tapper (IMO).
I stopped watching them long ago...ads that drunken display of 0bamalove by Dianne Sawyer the night of the inauguration sealed ot for me. Never again.
I hope they enjoy what they have wrought, the entire dishonest media.
The booing at those She-Rats came from a crowd that was simply being patriotic.
Maybe that was the intent all along....?
One suspects that among the fine NASCAR fans, the unspoken sentiment was something like..."Hey Moochelle, THIS boo's for YOU!"
.
ABC can’t make up their mind. From a Yahoo/ABC article ...
“A source traveling with the first lady downplayed the incident, telling ABC News there was no discernible booing during the loud chaotic program with jets flying over and tons of noise.”
;)
Or was it "Mooooooooooooooochelle!"
yup!! exactly what I said! I was proud of my fellow Nascar fans!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Was she wearing long sleeves? If so they might have been booing because they didn't have the opportunity to see her fabulously well-toned arms up close. :)
are those Dr dre beats shes wearing?
