From New Hampshires Union Leader:
Cains decision was made after a video showed him fumbling an answer about Libya during a newspaper editorial board interview in Milwaukee and right before he was to do an interview with this newspaper, which we wanted C-SPAN to record and broadcast. That wasnt going to happen, a Cain campaign spokesman said, because videos are typically used for television and its a newspaper. We decided we didnt want to do the video.
Videos these days are used by everyone, even random people on the street who record candidates with their cell phones. The difference between television and newspaper interviews is not that cameras are present, but that newspaper interviews tend to be longer and more in depth. The Cain campaign knows this. It seems that Cain is fine with everyone seeing him give short, prepared answers, but not with everyone seeing him try to answer questions in which he has more than 30 or 60 seconds to respond. He would do well to rethink that decision, for it gives the impression that hes got something to hide.
The Cain campaign said last week their policy was now not to permit filming at any newspaper interviews of Herman Cain.
Good. Then what? The MSM would broadcast a fumble to the world. The Cain campaign would have to BUY ad time to counter it.
Here's a counter offer: send the campaign office a set of clips of the interviewer asking questions, and we'll incorporate them into a video with the answers.
Better yet, since this is supposed to be for a print medium, email us the questions and we'll email the answers.
If Cain can't handle these situations, he'll never survive the general.
Um... since McCain lost, yes.
F—k Newt
F—k Mitt
I swear on my life and the lives of my children, I will NOT vote for either of them in the primary or the general election.
I just F’ing refuse to vote for a GD liberal POS be they DEM or GOP.
I’m not trying to be combative here, I just want to know:
Did either of you watch the entire 35 minute interview from Milwaukee? Or did you only watch the snipped clip that showed his response to the question about Libya?
Good luck with The Won, then.
The enemy outside the tent is better than the enemy within.
