...and Stewart has been my favorite driver since 1995 . . .

I've been on and off and on again with Stewart. 1) He's from IN about 30 minutes from me and still has the house he grew up in. 2) He went through a bombastic "where are his meds" time early in his career. 3) Could drive a bathtub if you could get wheels on it. 4) Is pure competitor

It was a great finish for the Championship this year. I was torn between Tony and Carl. I'm glad Tony won as an owner. But Carl really deserves a championship too.

I hope the racing gets better next year or I'll have to become a full time IRL fan and part time NASCAR fan.

Carl was consistant all year with one win . Tony on the other hand was a mess in reg. season racing ,,,, then comes the CHASE ,,, NASCARs Las Vegas version of the lucky roll . Tony wins five out of the ten races ,,,, that’s unheard of ,, and certianly not Las Vegas style luck but a pure desire to win . Carl deserves a lot of credit for sure .

PS ,, I can’t stand the Daytona and Talledega races any more . I would like to see them take some of the banking out of those tracks so the driver has to race the track more letting off in the turns but having plenty of straight away for speed . Racing wide open is a bore ,,, two by two or in a freight train bump draft .
