The Occupy movement is stepping up its confrontational tactics, plotting alternative forms of protest, including flash mobs that can be deployed nationwide.
Citing the success of last weeks so-called Day of Action protests, Take to the Square, one of Occupys main online planning forums, has devised an Alternative Day of Action to coincide with international Human Rights Day on Dec. 10.
Our freedom and dignity are under attack as a result of market dynamics and corrupt government institutions that are turning our local and global societies into increasingly unjust places, the site complains.
The Occupy forum calls for alternative forms of protest and new forms of action with a creative spirit.
Among the proposed actions: We can organize public forums, workshops and flash-mobs; we can promote the movement at local schools and neighborhoods or get in contact with humanitarian organizations working with the same goals.
A flash mob refers to a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place to perform a collective act and then disperse.
While flash mobs have been organized in the past for entertainment purposes, such as for satire or live television shows, recently the concept has also been used for criminal intent.
Flash mobs of mostly teenagers have reportedly attacked random targets in Philadelphia, Maryland, Cleveland, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. Philadelphias recently reelected mayor, Michael Nutter, imposed strict curfews in response to the incidents.

The worse their behavior becomes, the more normal people will not like them. Have at it guys, mob violence ! That’s the way - power to the people !
Many people so far have been naive and not understood or admitted to themselves that the hippy commie losers are in fact morons and treasonous.
If the commies increase their violence against innocent people to even higher levels than it has been so far, even those naive folks will develop a strong dislike of them.
Aaron Klein has been leading in exposing the movement. He has got to be in the top 5 ‘journalists’ for investigative reporting.
thanks.
(Just in case.. it's a reference to Castro's Cuba and, increasingly, it ain't /s)
I believe so. He’s also met with Zuckerberg of Facebook. Did you know FB had put tracking cookies that were following people’s internet activity even when they had logged out of facebook?
I think that the American public is turning against the Occupy Wall Street movement.
Disruption of public access and commerce may be mistaken for vandalism and a threat to safety of some.
That's not flattering him much, since there are only about six.
I have been watching them. (UStream) So far, they have posted personal phone numbers for an author of an editorial against OWS and for a police officer who pepper sprayed them in CA. I saved the info.
I think your right.
Hey, tut, can you add me to a ping list? This is pretty interesting stuff. Thanks!!!

You’re correct. They may have some thoughts as to what the problems are in govt but they are pawns. I’m gonna have to listed to Aaron’s podcast as too many distractions since the show started. If the 1% are the ‘bad guys’ why are they funding the movement?
In old Russia there were 2 classes (probably the same now), is that where we’re headed. Maybe the 1% got a promised offer from the administration that they couldn’t turn down?
Thanks for the info!
It’s the last part of your comment that I’ve feared for a long time now.
Aye
If the Tea Party had just 1 of the mildest incidents...
Scuh an incident by the Tea Party does not even have to take place. The Far Left will make one up, and will repeat the lie enough times so that it will become truth. Like the time the Tea Party spat at members of the Congressional Black Caucus and called them the n word, Now why does that not show up on the tape........
Yes I think FB is really getting to intrusive. Linking you with all of your family members and who they are to you, along with all of your friends. Very invasive information along with all health sites, etc. All at their finger tips.
Stuff like this provides counterpoint to the BHO administration mantra that its the Republicans who are trying to hurt the economy.
