University of California, Davis, Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi today expressed sadness for the events leading to Friday’s arrests of 10 campus protesters, and called for creation of a task force to review those events. She will instruct the task force, to be made up of faculty, students and staff, to provide its report within 90 days.
In an open letter to the campus community, Katehi also called for a review of university policies regarding overnight camping.
“Through this letter, I express my sadness for the events of this past Friday, and my commitment to redouble our efforts to improve our campus and the environment for our students,” Katehi wrote.
She said that the task force’s report “will help inform our policies and processes within the university administration and the UC Davis Police Department to help us avoid similar outcomes in the future.”
Ten protesters were arrested Friday afternoon after they refused an order to dismantle their tents from the Quad. Pepper spray was used during the incident.

According to Wiki, she ‘s a Greek immigrant whose background is in Electrical Engineering. She’s been the Chancellor since 2009. Doesn’t say, but my guess is that she’s a naturalized US citizen.

I see a patterns of abuse by the DNC to thwart the voices of the peoples!
Do they REALLY want to review their on campus camping policies? Lord the US is turning into a third world country in some ways.

More important is the pattern of democrats and their institutions attacking the occupy protestors!
EVERY SINGLE Police action has been done by a Union member!
Poor kids are the Palestinians of the liberal world.
They are used by the their own people.
