Rick Santorum
Rick Santorum ^

I took this quiz, and I was 92% in favor of Rick Santorum for president, which surprised me. It's a short, twenty question quiz.

My question, we're going through all the candidates, will we give Santorum his day in the sun?

Stupid quiz. Example:

6. What would be your ideal candidate’s position on BUSINESS & LABOR?
Would favor the pro-business positions of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and similar groups.
Would favor the pro-labor positions of the AFL-CIO and similar groups.

US Chamber of Commerce lobbied and created TARP. If I choose ‘Neither,’ the quiz pushes me towards Lindsey Graham since ‘Neither’ maps to politicians who talk both ways or take a middle ground (i.e., vote both ways).

Rick won on the survey for me. He was already my favorite.

Interesting.

I have Santorum at the top with 89% and Newt is just below him at 86%. Mitt is third at 84% proving once again that he’s a liar. I have Cain and Bachmann tied at 68%, and Perry at 64%. I have Obomba and Trump nearly tied at 28% and 29% respectively. As always, Hillary brings up the rear with only 13%.

Santorum lost any possibility of getting my support when he chose to back that RINO-turncoat Arlen Specter ...Rick sought and got Sphincter’s assurance he would not block, and would vote FOR the conservative SCOTUS nominees, whcih Sphincter would NOT have done if he was denied backing. By the way, I e-mailed Toomey and told him his silence on Fast and Furious was deafening. He rehashed everything I know about it, sloughed it off to Issa and didn’t answer my question. Conservative? Scared rabbit.

Sphincter only proved that he was a whore, and Rick only proved that he was willing to pay for it. Snarlin’ Arlen showed his true colors, and the voters of Pennsylvania told Sanatorium what they thought about him getting into bed with Sphincter.

End of story.

Cain is my pick too. I would not accept it even if politicians flip-flopped. Isn’t it obvious that it is murder? If a person cannot instantly realize this but has to analyze it in a position paper by taking a middle ground, it says a lot about the person. Then there are other faults - Amtrak funding, earmarks for community block programs, ethanol subsidies, debt increase, support for Arlen Specter, etc.

After posting this thread and reading the comments, I realize it’s rigged. I was sent this from someone I consider reliable. It’s out there, and we all need to be aware. I’m sure there are other surveys and sites that are in favor of their candidate. This site seems ‘harmless’, doesn’t it? We need to let our not as in-tuned politically aware family and friends know what’s going on.

This smacks of Ron Paul tactics. Thanks!

A politician whose main selling point is social issues is always suspect. This is a sure sign that this politician’s economic platform is very weak. Having the right position on social issues should not be something praiseworthy, it should be mandatory. Another suspicious character is Bobby Jindal. The way he swears by religion makes it clear that he is a fraud who spends our money. Santorum falls in this category too.

He has a record of helping the welfare state. Read this 2006 news item about him being a conservative friend of the poor who joined with Democrats Dick Durbin and Joe Biden to get funding for all sorts of programs like fighting AIDS and offering debt relief to the third world. Typically, "helping third world" means he helped his own non-profit group which claimed to have helped the third world.
