Or No Girl’s Land.

Great article by Steyn. PSU should be avoided at all costs by students and donors. Condoning/ignoring what happened to those poor boys is so morally bankrupt and sick that PSU should hang their heads in shame.

But they won’t. Everyone will shut their eyes and cheer their football team and spew venom at the accusers since they ruined the football program’s reputation.

OSU lost a head coach and their star QB because of NCAA definition of illegal contributions (small scale). But having one of your coaches at PSU commit anal rape of a minor is probably OK with the NCAA.

Fixed it.

Let me introduce a different intellectual construct/perspective on this sordid saga of sodomy.

“The poison fruit of the Tree of Liberalism”.

Once America decided it was OK to have each person deciding what was right and wrong according to their “inner feelings”, such perversions were sure to follow.

Let add to the above statement that my first post is in refrence to the reporter and the fire at the theater and NOT what is in the rest of his story.

"Jonas pointed out that burning barns isn’t wrong because it’s illegal, it’s illegal because it’s wrong."

Had to let that sink in a bit. Seems a perfect lesson for what these creeps did in "meeting their legal responsibility".

This is Steyn at his best. He beautifully summed up the ethical and moral abyss.

The graduate assistant and his father decided that the graduate assistant had to promptly report what he had seen to Coach Joe Paterno (“Paterno”), head football coach of Penn State. The next morning, a Saturday, the graduate assistant telephoned Paterno . . .

Hold it right there. “The next morning”?

Steyn edited out the part of the Grand Jury Report that stated the incident was observed around 9:30 PM. By the time McQueary had talked to his father, they apparently decided not to wake Paterno.

It's actually harder to figure out why Paterno waited a full day to report to his superiors.

Of course they had all decided not to call the police.

Isn’t it odd that neither Kevin Jennings nor any other present or former Obama czars have weighed in on this? More importantly, considering the obvious extensions of this problem, why are so few Conservatives connecting all the additional dots Obama’s team has polka-ed into the national moral fabric?

...a head coach cannot be woken up at 10:30pm when a felony rape is being committed in his football facility by someone closely affiliated with his program?!? Trust me, if Paterno's star QB was in trouble on a Friday night, someone would call Joe.

"You could hardly ask for a more poignant emblem of the hollow braggadocio of the West at twilight than the big, beefy, bulked-up shoulder pads and helmets of Penn State football, and the small stunted figures inside."

Sums up my thoughts of the current state of professional and college sports figures. I don't have any interest in the NFL these days, including the over-hyped "Super Bowl" game.
