>>He couldn't give a flying fill-in-the-blank!<<

Question is, does he give a flying blink about you or I?

He’za smart cookie, but my take after years of following news and interviews with and about Newt, he’z an elitest, globalist, political animal.

The one thing that really bothers me, Newt touts English should be the official language of government, yet goes down to Mexico, addresses a Mexican crowd regarding immigration reform...in fluent Spanish.

That video came out years ago and I've never forgotten it.

Newt stepped down from Congress under a cloud of scandal. The boy was sleeping around with his staff members, when his wife was suffering with cancer.

There are also reports of Newts two $500k lines of credit at Tiffanys which would serve only to show he'z NOT like the guy next door. Not trying to judge the guy, no ones perfect. I like Newt for his witt, candor, intellect, but in the end, I think the dems will pick him apart on credibility in the general.

I think Newt was burned by the attacks of the left and the media and he doesn’t want it to happen again, so he skates a fine line of political correctness (global warming, mandatory particiation in socialized medicine) in an effort to appear, or even become more moderate. It seems that he started with all the right ideas when he emerged as a Representative, but that life has beaten him into accepting the dominant media paradigms in many cases. One can only hope he finds the old Newt that railed against big government in special orders and abandons the spell of political correctness that seems to have come over him since he was forced out.

Newt is intelligent, well read, great debater, connected, experienced. BUT Newt is on the wrong team. He is a committed Globalist. (Traitor)

He supported AGW.

He would not slay the Federal Beast if elected President, which is the only path out for the nation. He would push (not lead) us into a Global Currency and Government. He believes he will be one of the winners in that scam, because he is smarter than the rest of us.

McCain is the worst GOP nominee ever - by far.

I'd still take him over Newt. Let's find someone else.

Newt governed as the most conservative Speaker of the House in the modern era.

Newt kept his promises in the Contract With America. Newt in his battle over the budget with Bill Clinton shut down the federal government TWICE, he forced a balanced Federal Budget and he reformed welfare. Show me anyone other than Reagan that has done more for conservatives in the last 50 years then Newt.

Newt is the only candidate who follows Reagan’s 11th Commandment.

I would like to see Newt debate Obama and I don’t believe he is insincere. He’s an intellectual and a man who has made some mistakes but the smears on here are unjustified. Keep in mind the Dems have lined up an entire army of people, the media, the Party bigwigs, the liars, the cheaters running the polls. Redistricting is going on across the Country by the Democrats, no one seems aware of their subversions, they quietly go about undermining fair elections and have, for decades, lied and cheated their way into office. I don’t follow the media’s attacks on every Republican candidate but it has become, sadly, an important tool to reelect Obama. I like Newt and will support him.

So you are not going to vote thereby allowing Obama to win again? Who do you support? And don’t say you are going to write in a name.

Pillsbury doughboy but deep fried. Not meant in a disparaging manner. Love me some biscuits and gravy.

Would really like for that to happen. Cain would be my first choice but really like Newt’s demeanor and ability in debates.
