I don't even want to hear about Newt until they do the same to Obama for hiring Frank Raines after he cooked the books for 5 years. He got hired as an "economic adviser". Johnson from Freddie mac was the same. He found Biden as the VP.

How can advising Freddie for one hour be the same as the guy that ran it into the ground and then cooked the books and lied under oath in House and Senate hearings? I don't know how much Johnson got but Franklin got $90 million.

MSNBC is having a cow over this. The hypocrisy of both Newt and the MSM is hilarious.

Nothing different than 95% of our wonderful politicians! So, if you are not going to condemn them all - especially the Democrats that do the same thing (after all, it is legal) then don’t raise such a fuss now during the election.

Yes, it should be stopped, and yes, it is corrupt!

Are you going to throw him out and elect Romney who is just as bad or worse I assure you....

Newt is as insider as you will get. You will not notice
any changes in your interaction with the government.
Santorum will be about the same as Newt.

With Bachmann, Cain, Perry, Paul & Johnson you will notice
significant change.

With Huntsman & Romney there will be small changes.

This is just total BS! Just because he mentioned the rep from FMFM came bye once a month, does not mean that was the only time he worked issues for them. Has anyone asked why the media is so hell bent on Newt’s salary vs the Obama admin approving millions in bonuses for FMFM managers who continually run a balance sheet red! Tell me the media is not in the tank with liberally democrats and I’ll say BS!

The democrats have thrown 4 trillion which is 4 MILLION MILLION dollars down a black hole..
And Newt is pilloried for trying to get some of it???

They have pigeon holed ALL info on where those bucks went..
EXCEPT..... for the paltry sum Newt got..

Something seems wrong here...
Wonder how many democrats benefited for this windfall?..
We might never know..

It is interesting how each candidate is ignored until he or she rises to the top in the polls, and then the shootout begins.

I don’t see Romney as getting the full-on attack. He has had negative press, but nothing like the complete focus Cain and now Newt have had. But since his getting the nomination is ‘inevitable’ I guess they’re saving it all for when he goes up against Dear Leader.

The best-laid plans...

No wonder he is being dubbed Newtie Kazootie.

He is a dummy for the highest bidder, and an extortionate one if he really did only work one hour a month for Freddie Mac

For a pol voted out of office, charging somewhere in the area of one megabuck per hour makes Obama’s gang appear to be chump change oriented amateurs.

Oh, wait, they are.

It’s really sad to see the class warfare rhetoric played out here. I thought we were the party of capitalism. I guess to some, you can only make so much in capitalism before folks ascribe nefarious motives. Obama has been playing that game for some time now.

I applaud Newt in taking advantage of capitalism. It’s the American way.
