I think he's going to survive this. I'm not sure he will recover in time (by January 3, 2012) to get back all of the support he lost in Iowa because of this mess. Hopefully so.

The reason is obvious...Cain’s supposed transgressions wouldn’t amount to one minute in the life of Dead Ted or Bubba.

The media has clearly drawn line for sexual conduct standards...and that line is around one light year below where Cain would be - even if the allegations were true.

And - given the ignorant sluts that are both accuser and attorney - I don’t give any more credibility to those multiple accusations than I do to Dan Rather.

Herman Cain is ridiculed by liberals for his gaffes, ignorance on foreign policy and his simple-minded approach to domestic policy. He may not be the smartest guy in the room but he's not pretending to be a Mr. Know-It-All. Cain reminds people of Jimmy Stewart, the iconic citizen-politician portrayed in Frank Capra's classic movie, Mr. Smith Goes To Washington. That's why he's the improbable political survivor. He is earnest, sincere, funny and above all, likeable. Liberals have tried to destroy him but he's still in the race. And even if he doesn't get the nomination, he's earned the respect of the American people for showing us any one can do that in this country - and this is still America!

I think the voting public has grown tired of the liberal ranting by the mainstream media. It’s always the same tired message, all conservatives are bad, liberals are good. The people just aren’t buying it anymore.

He probably will survive the Accusation of Inappropriate contact.

While I expect no politician to now the answer to everything.

He better brush up on his delivery of how and what he would have done different. He may not know all the answer but he sure as he11 should know how he would proceed and the things he would be looking for in his decision making.

But Mr. Cain is the wrong kind of black man. Some Democrats sneer that the Republicans only found a black man who “knows his place,”

It remains to be seen if any real support has been lost, those people in Iowa are like a flag on a flag pole, they flap in the breeze a lot. When they figure out newt is a moderate like willard, they will flap in another direction.

He’s a decent guy and I don’t think the sex thing is hurting him that much....it’s the lack of understanding of some pretty rudimentary foreign policy facts. I don’t think he is out but he needs to bone up a little and stop making these gaffes.

The only real negative I’ve racked up for him is that painful Libya response. But I’ve seen stuff like that from all the candidates, and in spades from Obama.

I think Iowa is still in Cain’s column. The more people Cain can meet, the more hi support will grow. I think his bodyguard’s statement put it very well. The Cain you see is the Cain you get. He’s the same off camera as he is on camera. He’s genuine.

They know pretty everything about Newt Gingrich and they have decided he is looking pretty good. Now you might not agree and that’s your right but they aren’t going to change their mind because they suddenly realize they didn’t know who Newt Gingrich is.

“Whire House”

Man, you JUST missed a Freudian slip by one vowel!

(Just kidding ...I know you corrected it ...and I’m a Cain supporter!)

SmileRight, you hit the nail on the head. The lamestream media ALWAYS calls anyone who doesn’t agree with them “stupid”. No originality whatsoever, BTW!! And I also agree that the voting public is getting tired of it.

Even some of the people I know who rely on the lamestream media for their information are noticing it, and are getting fed up with the constant cries of “He/She is just sooo stupid”!

I know I’m setting myself up for the flames, but what the hell...

Cain’s surge seemed to be fueled by conservatives pushing back on the media—it wasn’t about him, it was about them (the MSM).

Now that he’s not under fire constantly, and he’s left to talk about foreign policy and such, it looks like his numbers are falling again. While I like the guy, that’s not enough to get my vote.

I’m starting to wonder just who was behind the attacks, since when left on his own, he doesn’t seem to be a threat to Romney.

WOW!!! You know what, if Cain's media ad people could put together an ad that would be a spin-off from that old, classic movie, it would be awesome. It would be nostalgic for the older generation... and old folks vote!

The media smear machine is now attacking Newt Gingrich, and will only attack Newt more intensely until he falls precipitously in the polls.
