My thoughts exactly. If Obama wasn’t there, how could it be an assassination attempt? It seems that all he would have to say is “I knew he wasn’t there.” “I was just shooting at the building.” Not that anyone would believe him.

It seems he fired from his vehicle after getting in range of the WH.

He fired from 700 yards away which is outside the effective range of an AK 47 (or its copies).

On the night of the shooting, the president was traveling and not in the White House. According to a law-enforcement official, a witness in an airport shuttle van saw a Honda Accord stop on Constitution Avenue and fire a burst of shots out the passenger window toward the White House more than 700 yards away. The car sped away and was abandoned several blocks down the road. Authorities said Mr. Ortega-Hernandez is one of the listed owners of the car.

Doesn’t that mean they (at least the requester) are backing the shooter and are just as guilty in a ‘plot’?

Also, I find it somewhat ‘amusing’ when one of these nut jobs are caught and their repertoire includes ‘21 years old, with several run ins with the law and a long long history of being mentally unbalanced’
