Call them Cainisms.Perryisms, Romneyisms, Gingrichisms,Obamaisms and Bidenism to be fair and balanced.

"-Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me." Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I'd still have to bum rides off people."

I’m not well-versed about Cuba but I knew about the ‘wet foot, dry foot policy’...

What was the funny line all the Newtbots were trotting out" Something about "Self immolation"? Odd how the same Freepers who who whine hysterically when anyone is critical of Newt around here have no problem attacking everyone else.

Hey don't shoot the messenger. If Cain wasn't continually putting this stuff out there, we wouldn't be having this conversation...

I believe Herman Cain would make an excellent President. He has core principles and would surround himself with experts in his cabinet selections - not for window dressing - but for function.

It has been a long time since Herman Cain has been interviewed for a job - which is the purpose of election campaigns.

His resume is that of a CEO - not politician, Tax Collector, Militarist or teleprompter reader.

There was a time when Herman Cain would have been carried into DC on the shoulders of the voters. Sadly, this is not the time. Maybe next time.

Spin all you want.

The fact is you are a hyper hypocite one this issue.

You have NO problem recklessly trashing the other candidates but are the 1st to whine hysterically when someone posts anything critical of Newt.

You are sowing the wind. Don't cry when you reap the whirlwind

I knew that if they are on dry land they can’t be deported but I have never heard it called “Wet foot, dry foot”

They couldn’t get Cain on the sex charges. They are trying to Alinsky him by mocking his “stupidity.”.

And they sound successful. Idiot media people calling a rocket scientist stupid because he doesn’t know political terms. The guy is campaigning 24/7 and doesnt have every fact in his brain. He doesn’t need to. We want wisdom to make the right decisions when presented with the facts!

We don’t need a autistic savant filled with facts!

You people falling for this are begging for nominee rominey.

"I am well versed about Cuba"

but

"I have NEVER heard of ANYTHING called 'Wet foot, dry foot policy' "

Well, which is it? They can't both be true!

I don't have a problem being critical of any of them. Newt just hasn't given me any ammo lately. At least nothing that isn't old news. I suspect that - unlike Herman - he won't be providing much fodder. He'll leave that up to the media and his detractors.

Hypocite?

“Wet foot drt foot refers to the fact that if they can get one foot on dry land they cannot be deported.”

Had Elian Gonzalez touched land Clinton/Reno would still have found a way to deport him. Clinton mouth-kissing Castro just like the latest Benetton ads showing Obama kissing Chavez.

We all know Obama wouldn’t have known the wet/dry distinction. We all know Obama is the stupidest president this country has ever had; yet his ascendency was paved by the media.

Too bad for Cain that we conservatives have higher expectations. I really really still like the guy, but I do have to shake my head from time to time.

Despite his knowledge gaps I trust him and Santorum the most - and for me it comes down to trust more than knowledge.

I know that when a Cuban makes it to land, they aren’t deported, but I have never heard it called “Wet foot, dry foot.”

Anyway, I don’t care.

I am not voting for the foreign policy expert. I am voting for the man who knows how to lead, and who has character.

I guess I will take a candidate who admits he doesn’t have all the answers over one who talks a real good conservative game on the campaign trail and then does something completely different when he is in a position of power.

"The kind of education I received makes you confident in your ability to understand problems—not necessarily to have good answers but at least understand the nature of the questions.” ~Senator Barack Obama
According to your logic, Obama would fit as well as Cain. You might rethink that one.

I’m not well versed in Cuban policy and even I know that “wet foot, dry foot” IS our determining immigration policy with Cubans.

I've never been to FL or Cuba or the ocean(s), but I have known of the 'wet foot, dry foot policy' for years. It is rather common knowledge regarding illegals coming ashore.

Cain is a disaster, folks need to wake up. He says things they want to hear, but he’s not remotely ready for prime time. You really think walking into Florida getting asked about CUBA and foreign policy related to it are a set up??? If so you and your “best people” are complete inept.

We already have an administration full of inept folks, we don’t need another one just because this one has an R beside his name.

This guy is falling apart on SOFTBALLS no way in hell he can survive a general election.
