I wonder why Cain jumped out and blamed Perry?
Because that’s what they (Romney/Christie) wanted him to do.
The guy who worked with Cain in his 2004 Senate campaign I believe is actually innocent.
Chris Wilson, however, is another story. I think he is a mole, or at the very least was compensated by someone to come out and speak what he did when he did. “They” knew the Cain camp would probably buy it and Perry could fall back on “plausible deniability” because he really didn’t know anything.
Unfortunately, getting that part of my theory down is beyond my research capabilities. I wish Breitbart or someone would investigate revenue sources for Wilson Strategies for Sep-Nov 2011. I can’t say for sure, but I suspect some kind of trail if one were visible could be found there.
My guess is that he could not think that his “good friend” Mitt Romney could do such a thing. Boy is he gonna feel the hurt when he learns Mitt would gladly throw Cain under the bus if it meant winning a single primary state.
