I’m on it. Was it NLJ250 that had the listing of all the lawyers?
This could be the brother or brother-in-law. The sister worked for Morgan Stanley from what I found in Google/FB, but now I can’t find what I had last week.
Not all of the details in the following tale are included to protect the guilty and hopefully not give them any more grounds to sue: One gal never cleaned up after herself and left her dirty underwear all over the station to be found by her own coworkers and people working on other shifts. Someone finally soaked a pair of her panties and a bra in water and put them in the freezer and left her a note telling her where she could find them. She reported this as sexual harassment, found an attorney and got a few months off with pay while the matter was being “investigated”.
When she returned she transferred to our station. At our station she burned some rice and threw the rice and the pan out in the front yard and left them both. When the station captain found the mess, he cleaned up most of it, but left a note telling her to clean the pan. When she returned to work, she threw the pan in the dumpster. Someone else retrieved the pan from the dumpster and left a note for the station captain. She received an oral reprimand. She went back to her attorney and claimed that she was being retaliated against.
The city settled out of court. The entire matter is sealed and none of the parties involved are allowed to talk about it. I was told by another woman on the department who was involved and knew the details... that person making the complaint received a six figure settlement, including money for retraining her for another profession. Several persons including the captain who gave her an oral reprimand were disciplined.
I got along with this person and her husband who was also on the fire department at the time. I have seen them several times at gatherings since, and we are on friendly terms. He actually presents himself as a conservative. He has a son from his first marriage who is in the military who he is very proud of. I would not be surprised if he posts on FreeRepublic. He could probably share more relevant details. But this is a fairly typical example of the sexual harassment claims that I am aware of. She didn't like the work and wanted out. She found a way to get out with a fairly significant “severance” package.
My wife worked for many years at retirement centers and nursing homes at a supervisory level. She worked with many women who went from job to job after using sex to get favors from the men in charge. Then when they were ready to move on they would make a claim and get a large settlement. They were openly flirtatious and made themselves available for sex with their supervisors. Some of them were very nice to my wife and actually did good work. Some of the men who had sex with them didn't face any allegations and some of the men who rebuffed their advances were the ones who got in trouble. There is no rhyme or reason as to how these situations work out.
yes.
Shiela O’Grady was President of the Illinois Restaurant Association. While that has links to the NRA, they’re still two separate trade groups.
Unless they had someone specifically in HR give her the confidential info, I’m not sure how she would have gotten it. Cain still has many good friends in high positions at the NRA.
As for Bialek, sure she probably is directly linked to Axelrod and agreed to this as a means to pay off a debt.
Exellent Question! I’m glad you asked that because I wondered about it myself.
Still trying to pinpoint the research down to get it right, but I’ll have a new blog post soon. From what I can tell, I think Chris Wilson is a mole in the Perry Camp, and the Perry folks would be best advised to toss his butt out of their campaign.
SOMEBODY told Wilson to say what he did to deliberately get the finger pointing at Perry, and they knew it would work. The one guy Cain/Block first accused, I believe, is actually innocent, but SOMEBODY knew that connection would be made, and along with Wilson, would lead the discussion to the Perry camp.
It’s well known Wilson has ties to Karl Rove, and that Rove despises Perry. I think they were possibly aiming for a 2-fer her trying to damage them both.
But again this is just speculation at this point. Although, I really don’t think Perry was involved in this leak. And you can tell from my posts, I’m not a Perry Supporter.
Because she doesn't want to get sued for Defamation. Got Wood?
I don’t know about that... all these allegations came from over a decade ago. It’s a damn shame.
They probably didn’t fire her because she was pregnant. That’s a WHOLE other can of worms.
These freaks have so many cans of crap, we the normal people have to walk through life stepping over the “land mines”.
As a girl, I can get away with a lot more than my fellow fellas. I do feel bad for you guys.
If things were reversed, my boss would have already filed sexual harassment charges against me and another co-worker. Luckily, we all have a great sense of humor.....we just can’t do it in front of other co-workers.
Thousands of comedians are starving and you are trying to be funny.
2 weeks ago, it was “hot” news. Today it is more tepid. By the time GOP convention is over, it will be old news. There are no more files at NRA except those 2. Both were NOT settlements. Both were Severance arrangements.
The 3rd woman, Bialek, is as believable as the tips I get at the race track.
That doesn't mean Perry isn't!
Sharon NEVER worked for Cain. She worked for a totally separate organization from which she was fired for making a false sexual harassment accusation against a fellow employee.
bfl
Doesn’t mean he is, either.
You’re just flinging poo against the wall to see what you can make stick.
No better than the Democrats.
True enough that!
I hope it continues to be recognized as a smear rather than as real incidents. I am sick of the slimeing we see in the corporate workplace. Its a damn sad thing that executives must now be trained to deal with false accusations from any woman who is out the door due to lack of performance or anything else. its just de jure now a days to smear someone for personal benefit. Its 100% dishonorable. It SHOULD reflect on the accuser MORE than it does the accused.
It ticks me off that much more to hear those same slimey fools state that we are somehow attacking the accuser to protect the accused. Yet in reality, when the accuser is LYING they deserve to get discredited if not prosecuted.
Thanks NoGrayZone.
Aw, leave Cliff alone.
He is doing the best he can with what little he’s got.
It’s not easy being a man who wore shorts and knee socks his entire working life.
Cliff?
You mean Maria?
