A Massachusetts law professor has created a campus firestorm with an email to colleagues that declares it would be shameful to send care packages to U.S. troops who have gone overseas to kill other human beings.

“This guy is disgusting, but at least he brings the issue up, what much of the pompous left has tried to hide since 9/11, that they are really all America-hating subversives....”
I dunno. I think they dropped that pose on 9/12/01.
LOL!
Great post. Interesting!
I hope he teaches at a private university. Otherwise, it means he’s on the public payroll, which would be doubly appalling. He’s obviously unfit to be a professor, even though he has the right to freedom of speech, which is protected in part by the very soldiers he vilifies.
Is he Bawney Fwanks missing twin brother ?
I agree. What a huge steaming pile of SH!T !!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your service from the bottom of my heart.
What was your favorite thing in the care packages ?
I bet it wouldnt take long before he wanted a Care package.

No, he’d be sobbing his commie heart out for a WAAAHMBULANCE
There are not just a lot of places to get toiletries when you live in an FOB in Africa. I do get funny looks when filling out customs forms though.
Almost like Clinton.
Avery is a red. He was listed as the president of the old Communist Party USA legal front, the National Lawyers Guild, in 2006, and testified against the nomination of Samuel Alito for the Supreme Court, along with NLG Ex. Director Heidi Boghosian, another open red.
Also testifying at the hearing was future NLG president Majorie Cohn, and former Military Intelligence office turned turncoat, Christopher Pyle. All teach law.
Avery also cowrote a chapter in a book, “Police Misconduct, Law and Litigation” , along with Karen Blum (whose name rings a red bell), and David Rudovsky. Rudovsky, a radical leftist, was a colleague of David Kairys, avowed marxist attorney, and member of the CPUSA legal front, the National Emergency Civil Liberties Committee (NECLC). See the online database on the Left, “www.keywiki.org”, Search for “National Lawyers Guild”, for some names. You’ll see many of them listed there.
Also go to www.frontpagemagazine.com, then their “www.DiscoverTheNetwork” database for info on several of these people as well as on the NLG, CCR, and poss. NECLC.
What we have with Avery is a very dangerous law professor, along with Cohen and Kairys, among other reds in academia.
Now you know why so many leftist attorneys are out there, including in the Dept. of Justice (some from the NLG; others from its offshoot, the Center for Constitutional Rights).
“There’s trouble in paradise”.
I prefer: “First we hang all the lawyers” (at least the reds and ambulance chasers). The thought of Gloria Allred swinging in the wind brings tears to my heart. She is a disgrace to the professor, as was Johnnie Cochran, commie William Kunstler, and the red/racist law professors of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Eric Holder, to name a few.
The bad news is that there are hundreds of marxists and communist law professors teaching future lawyers. These “red termites” are directly responsible for the undermining of our Constitution and of our defense and internal security programs, and you see what that has led to.
What a jerk.
“In Massachusetts, there are more college professors than registered automobiles.” - George Will (as quoted by Bill Bennett in America, The Last Best Hope).
You are one of my heroes, JJ!
I hope nobody in the military gives this dip$**t another thought!
Sending packages to the Troops is something I have done for years, and all were so happy to get them.
It was it’s own reward to know that it made our Troops happy.
The REAL shame, is this silly sissy filling our young ones heads with that tripe.
They never think about the mean and women who died to keep them free, and the never think about our active military.
What they do for us, the families they leave behind, the exhaustion and stress of war.
Pay him no mind..
We will fix this buggers wagon!
Our Troops ROCK and we love them!!
He can take his shameful opinion and stick it where the sun don’t shine.
Dang typos!
Mean and women = men and women
LOL

Looks constipated.
`I was so happy to get a box_____’
Very glad to hear that.
Friday, Nov. 4, 20 of us packed 42 large Flat Rate boxes with a Holiday theme, and mailed them off to Afghanistan.
This was a special once a year event.
I had been chair of our club’s `Supporting Our Troops’ project for over 5 years, and working alone, sent 1 to 3 boxes monthly; turned it over a year ago while remaining a member of the new packing team, and am chair of the Note Cards to the Troops.
Every month, 5 of us fill quart baggies with an assortment of stuff: granola bars, tissue packs, peanuts, candy, etc. and a written note card of thanks, and get about 22 to 25 of these quart baggies in a Large Flat Rate Box.
We send about 3 boxes monthly.
The troops speak of liking `something of home,’ so we included a strand of Christmas Garland in each box. Put it in a gallon baggie and squeezed the life out of it.
It was reduced to practically nothing and took up no room, really.
Put it on the top of the box before closing, for a colorfull surprise upon opening!
Proud to say the club is a chapter of the Republican Women Federated. We collect money donations from our members, and go shopping for the Troops!

Excuse the detail you find there - just donate somewhere if you can’t manage a box. You do need a name and address - someone’s grandson, nephew, etc. `over there,’ who is willng to receive the box and make it available to buddies.
`_____pre-shave lotion________because it had alcohol in it.’
I think that’s a rule from the military, not the post office . . .
For over 5 years I sent monthly boxes to Iraq and Afghanistan, or 2 or 3.
After awhile I got `creative’ with the Custom’s Form every now and again. Not lying - creative.
Because there could be a random opening of the box, so stayed truthful.
Because (expensive) beef jerky is such a prized item, (read: possible thievery somewhere along the way - - ) after a while I claimed `Meat Snacks’ on the Custom’s form.
Hoped that wouldn’t catch the eye!
And sending many expensive pre-paid phone cards 2 years ago, I wrote `calling cards’ on the Custom’s Form.
Happy to say all went well, far as I know!

Suffolk is a private school. They’re a Harvard wannabe.
LOL! I knew what you meant.
HUGZ
I have to say it was gummy bears, and cards from children.
Please thank your daughter and her husband for me.
JJ
My pleasure.
