California Public Policy Poll.

Got to see the metrics before it means a thing.

I am hoping Cain and Newt finish 1-2 either way and then are together on the ticket. Cain as Pres and Newt as his VP.

There are others who could do equally well...but that’s my pick at this point.

Flavor of the week. Now that we have had all of them thrown in our faces, lets get behind the only non-establishment candidate in the race, HERMAN CAIN!!!

Obama and the Dems are hoping the Repubs are stupid enough to put Newt against him.

Unfortunate that California is so important in primary elections because the chance that they will break for the GOP nominee in the general election is essentially nil. Plenty of good CA FReepers out there, but the state GOP as a whole seems to be fixated on finding candidate liberal enough to suit the overall California electorate. In most parts of the country, we would call those candidates “Democrats”.

This from the state that wouldn't even fend off the crying Nicky Diaz/Gloria All-red hit against (very moderate) Meg Whitman.

Kalifornia just won't wake up.

Raise your hand if you believe that the Republican presidential candidate will win California’s electoral vote next year...

California “Republicans”, all 27 of them and 18 are RINOs. We of the GOP base nationwide want a real conservative and one will emerge through the primaries, God willing.

My vote in the primary will be Cain but if Bachmann or Santorum get the nod I am happy. In the general, the ONLY candidates that are acceptable to me are Cain, Bachmann and Santorum. If they are not the nomination, I am writing in Cain. This party is so dumb if they are not going to pick one of these three conservatives. I am sick and tired of the liberal Republicans getting the nom. I am done with this. This is our one time probably forever to get a 100 percent conservative into the White House and once again the Republicans are trying to screw this up.

Gingrich needs to win in Iowa or New Hampshire or he’ll never make it to California.

Unfortunately, the polls are showing that he is stealing support from Cain but not from Romney. If he beats Cain in Iowa, Cain will effectively be out of the race. Then Gingrich will be an easy target for his support of obamacare, global warming, etc and the final outcome is unpredictable.

Gingrich is trying to make the leap from being Clinton’s Boehner to being Obama’s Dole.

I gave $100 bucks to Thompson last cycle, $100 to Cain this time around.

I (not you) need to look at who really can beat this Marixist in the White House. As Newt has said: everyone on this stage is better than what we have now.

We can continue here and eat our own but the reality is becoming much more evident. It is going to come down to Newt and Mittens for the nomination.

Anything they throw on Newt will be old news. What they are going to be throwing on Mitt’s will be truly more damaging. They will make him look like a fool with his religion. They want this. They are hopefully waiting to expose the craziness of his cult and they will portray Obama’s time with reverend Wright as mainstream compared to Romney.

Some may say I am running from my guy when things got tough. No, I am a realist. This is reality now and will be the case come March 1st.

My guy Cain is not ready to swim with the big fish. He is a patriot and a God loving man. The world is much different and obviously much more complex than when this great nation was founded.

I believe that Newt understands the complexity of these times. Yes, many say he is nothing but a history teacher. I believe we need those traights more than ever so that we don’t repeat our past.

It is time to except reality.

Poll musta been taken before the news about Newt’s $300,000 “contract” (a.k.a. bribe) from Freddie Mac.
