When Mitt Romney was Massachusetts governor, the state tried to pull the plug on an 11-year-old girl in a coma only to see her recover. Now the case could become a campaign issue for the GOP presidential frontrunner.
On the day Mitt Romney announced the support of social conservatives, the Republican blogosphere buzzed with reports about how a state agency under the former Massachusetts governor tried to pull the plug on a brain-damaged girl who ultimately came out of a coma.
The report about Haleigh Poutre surfaced on The Shark Tank blog in a sign that conservatives and especially social conservatives arent comfortable with the Republican presidential frontrunner.
Romneys campaign said the governor improved the state of care in Massachusetts as a result of Haleighs case.

Nothing to see here - merely a (very) late-term abortion attempt - one cannot mess with the right to have a dead child....
Come on, we all know that the governer had a battery backup hidden there when he tried to pull the plug.
But then again, the battery was designed to only last 10 minutes.
But then again, the backup had a backup.......connnected to a switch....connected to a weather vane.
RINOmney sux raw eggs.
May an unclean yak back into his shaving cream.
Reason #4823 why I will never, under any circumstances, vote for Slick Willard.
ROFL
Finally ! someone founs something on Romney!
Jeb Bush’s gutlessness in not risking his precious office to defend Terry Schiavo is why I would never vote for him.
I’m waiting for a real hero.
I’m surprised this came out now. it’s way too soon.
It would seem they would wait until he, presumably, becomes the nominee. At that point this is covered endlesly for weeks, beating Rmney into a bloody pulp.
MINI MAC DADDY.
“Im waiting for a real hero”
Maybe Father Frank Pavone, Priests for Life.
He was beside Terry Schiavo day and night and performed last rites as he watched her being murdered, aided and abedded by spineless politicians, the leader being Jeb Bush.
Hm. Damn, with all the unqualified and unelectable Republicans running, I don’t know why we just don’t allow Hussein another 4 years by acclamation.
I mean, we are being told Romney is a socialist and NOT a successful businessman, Perry is pro-illegal immigration and NOT a successful governor, Cain is a molestor of woman and NOT a job creator, Gingrich is a philanderer and NOT a problem silver, etc. etc. etc.
I have NOT chosen my candidate yet for the January 31 primary, but one thing I know will NOT convince me: a barrage of invective fired at any of our candidates.
I am interested in their positions on issues, their record of success or failure, and their personal integrity. Spewings of hatred toward someone who wants to replace the worst Oval Office occupant EVER won’t hold sway with me.
