Up to 1,000 riot police launched a dramatic raid early this morning on Occupy Wall Street as Mayor Bloomberg finally lost patience with a protest camp that has become a global movement's focal point. More than 200 people were arrested as police stormed the camp at Zuccotti Park in Manhattan, New York, in the dead of night - where some protesters have been since it was set up in mid-September. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said the park was evacuated overnight to 'reduce the risk of confrontation' - but major clashes were seen and the evicted protesters are now regrouping nearby.

Just heard on CNN: If ruling is upheld (by Judge Lucy Billings) not only can the protestors not be evicted but they CAN camp out with tents again. (If.)
Don’t get excited the ACLU went to some idiot judge and got a resraining order!
Due to a DemboSkank incompetent Fe-Pig destructionist pevert “Judge”, they are already letting the ‘Planet of the Occupier Apes’, back into Stinkpotty Park.
correction not the ACLU some idiot lawyers guild!
what took so long /s
Bloomberg is an inept leader. He has willfully let this crap go on for two months. Why doesn’t the MSM mention that his girlfriend sits on the board of Brookfield Properties?
I can see this going badly for the police when the mayor throws them under the bus.
The National Lawyer’s Guild makes the ACLU look like the John Birch Society: ultra-extreme lefties, openly communist, etc.
I predict there will be a resurgence of a Weather Underground type group and there will be domestic terrorist attacks against the so-called 1%.
We just need to donate signs that read: Welcome to Obamanation - coming soon to a park near you! In fact, design the signs as Movie Posters with a picture of a suburban park with a few children playing, unaware of the Obama Revolution coming.
we need somebody with balls to tell them to take their court order and shove it

The Left must have determined that OWS is doing more harm to their cause then good... Time to end the rally..
Maybe New York was going to get sued by all the folks who don’t have ‘special’ political friends. My feeling was all the hot dog vendors should sue for not being allowed to set up kitchens in parks... like the trust fund babies of OWS...
Maybe I’m wrong, but it looks like Bloomberg didn’t do anything until the voters with nearby businesses said they were losing close to 500K.
Does it take business losses for Bloomberg to protect the taxpayers and voters against the invading hordes?
I imagine the bank and insurance executives whose houses were surrounded by protestors feel those attacks have already begun. Same for all the innocent victims of mugging by the thugs who feel it's their right to beat up
It's clear to anybody paying attention, OWS isn't some spontaneous protest going with the flow and without a master plan.
They are doing this in phases, and each phase has been planned out.
This election cycle is going to get very violent and nasty. Be mentally and physically prepared.
