I agree with Kaminsky. Freepers want a true-blue conservative, but for most Americans the first qualification is that a candidate knows what he is talking about.

I like Cain personally, but I DO NOT think the WH is the place to start a new career in politics.

Cain is the only true blue Conservative. He is also the only one who looks at the problems and says “what are the solution”

All the others looks at the problems and say “how do I get votes out of this”

Leave it to “True Conservatives” to think electing yet another GOP Establishementbot in 2012 is going to change anything

Herman’s just not a beltway insider.

He’s pro-freedom, pro-faith, pro-life, pro-gun

That’s good enough for me.

I sent him another donation just last night.

The intelligentsia and the effete elitists can stuff it.

But as the reality sets in, it's clear that Mr. Cain is barely more ready for the office he seeks than Sarah Palin (or Barack Obama) was four years ago.

Another moron looking down his nose at Palin. Palin actually had experience in winning debates, elections and fighting entrenched corruption. Imagine that quality in the White House now.

Cain is ready. Far more ready than Barrack Obama ever was.

He loves America and knows the principles upon which she is built and has exercised those in the private sector to great success.

He is qualified according to the Constitution and I trust the man. That’s enough to this point for me.

He will have to gaffe and fail a whole lot worse than he has to lose my vote.

Cain knows exactly what he’s talking about. You’d prefer cry babies like Romney or Perry who act like playground enemies?

My father retired from the ministry after many years and was offered a job as a plant manager of a large insulation business. He had never done that type of work before, but the man who owned it said he “needed someone honest to run the place” since his sons and other managers had nearly bankrupt him.

My dad got rid of the employees he needed to...and in his words “hired the folks that knew much more than he did so he could learn from them and make proper decisions.”

The business flourished and my dad worked there for 15 yrs as a beloved manager.

Your argument holds no water. What did Obama know? (hint. ZERO)

We don’t have to worry about that with Newt. He’s the smartest guy in the room. He hasn’t been the most consistent conservative over the years, but he would immediately be the most conservative president since Reagan. And he knows his stuff. I like Cain, but I can’t argue with the experience criticism. He has time to get up to speed, though. We’ll see.

American Spectator has no cred it’s a shill for establishment RINO’s like Karl Rove and Mittens. Of course they are going to run Cain down. The poster needs to go home to Daily Kos. Nice try.

Oh really. Most of the ones up there that know what they are talking about use what they know to subvert the US and it’s people.

I think the question on Libya caught him off guard. He wasn’t sure if it was Libya the country or Libby Ya some chic that was making a claim.

Yes, it takes a REAL PROFESSIONAL POLITICIAN, with decades of government experience, to cause the kind of mess we have in Washington, and Herman is just not qualified.

The only thing he has ever done is take failing companies and turn them into a successes.

And we dont want any of that going on in Washington... no sirreee.

All you need as president for good foreign policy is common sense and the ability to trust your experts.

That’s what Cain’s points were centered around.

As leader of the free world, that’s what you should be doing... LEADING.

NOBODY on that stage or especially in the white house has any right answers... ONLY OPINION!

Cain was simply honest about the reality of the situation. Nobody really knows.

That clip was bad. You read the transcript and you cringe. I’m sure he was tired, but then his staff should have never let him be interviewed at that point. They are mishandling him - they’re amateurs, and it shows.

But IMO, Cain made it worse when he says “it was only a pause, good grief.” Are you kidding me? You got asked a question and the first thing you say is: “Did the President support the uprising?”

Hint 1: I know the answer to that Herman.
Hint 2: You’re supposed to know the answer to that Herman.

I like Cain. But he better D up, because the scrutiny isn’t going to decrease. It’s only going to get worse. Time to hire some staff that can manage his schedule and prep. him properly. Or I’ll never get the chance to vote for him.

Really,so you agree with the Country Club that Palin and Cain are both an embarrassment? I say let the Country Club hold their nose and vote for our candidate this time.

Cain’s not ready.
Perry is toast and is a Rino.
Palin’s not running.
Bachman is at 4%
Newt had deals with Pelosi, backed Scuzzafaver.
Romney is a leftie.

If any of these run, we should leave our ballot blank as they aren’t truly worthy.
But, it’s ok, we’ll sweep them in 2016 when Palin really runs and the country is so desparate for our country’s roots they’ll have to vote for us, right?

Do you get my point? This is asinine. This is why the radio hosts haven’t endorsed anyone yet. But, when we tear our own down and agree with the beltway insiders, the MSM, they win.

To win this election, we have to unite. We have to give voters a reason to vote R instead of D in the senate and house or those are gone, too. Wake up and stop agreeing with these punks as I’d rather have a conservative with little or no foreign policy exp than Obama with none.

Plus, the more we tear our own down, the easier it will be for Romney to win and thus Obama.

The author was spot on in this assessment. Up until the last point, when he implied that Cain was like a high school student who had been cramming for an exam.

It's obvious that Cain has not been cramming for anything, other that his next book tour, seeking cheers and attention and making money off of future speaking engagements.

There is also another issue that may come up in the near future about Cain's ethical stature and that is an accusation that Cain has violated FEC campaign financing rules, by using Campaign donations (funds) to buy 13,000 copies of his new book from himself. Which would not only allow Cain to get income from the campaign, but also give the impression of how fast his book is selling.

http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2011/10/herman-cain-books-campaign-funds-/1

This has serious potential of being much bigger than the recent Sexual harassment scandal.
