“Isnt the park private property? It should be up to the landowner.”
Zuccotti Park.....
This park is not owned by the city. It is owned by Brookfield Properties.
Q. Who was just hired by Brookfield Properties as an attorney?
A. Vice President Joe Biden’s son.
Q. Who sits on the board of Brookfield Properties?
A. Mayor Bloomberg’s live in girlfriend.
Now, guess what company just received some of the last of the Obama Stimulus $$$$$$$.
That’s right.....Brookfield Properties.

I was starting to wonder how fast Bubonic Plague might spread once some of the Occupy protestors started making the local park squirrels into pets, or eating them.
It is. You have to believe, because there is no other explanation, that one or more of the 'campers' was infected, carried the disease and brought it in.
Things like this confirm in my mind that I am doing the right thing when I NEVER touch public handrails, elevator buttons, door handles and the like. Call me paranoid but I just never do. I also travel with Clorox wipes and sanitize everything around me, be it on a plane or in a hotel room. Mrs. 40 laughs at me because when we are in a hotel room I put the TV remote in a zip lock baggie and use it from there. I also use a Kleenex to pull the comforter off the bed and to the floor; they are seldom changed with the bedding and I find them gross.
Late Tuesday evening? At the time I’m posting this, it’s Tuesday morning. Are they clairvoyant?
You and me both, kemosabi. And yes, I've got drones in my extended family as well.
Yeah, I saw a story last week of a bunch of them getting exposed to treatment resistant tuberculosis in the shelter where they were conducting their “occupation”.
NOBODY likes a freaking occupier.
Duly noted. I was seriously starting to wonder if they were going to get a “go-ahead” call in the last week or so. I think Oakland and Berkeley will try to push it... They want an old-style sit-in ala Berkeley in the late 60s, or so I’m told. Apparently the workers in the school administration bldgs are part of the 1% or something. They ignore or worship the professors alongside them though - for now at least...
They were planning a big strike day today, but haven’t looked to see how that’s going... I heard about Thursday as well - I guess time will tell what will happen now.

CARTMAN: (looking like a ghostbuster/exterminator): “Ma’am I need to clear out your giggling stoners and your drum circle hippies right now, or soon they’re going to attract something much worse...”
OLD WOMAN: “Whoa... What’s that?”
CARTMAN: “The College Know-It-All Hippies”

The Slacker Generation
Water cannon—I like it.
These freaks are averse to soap and water. Add some bubble soap to the water cannon. Hose ‘em down and clean ‘em up!
Yes. Where are the famous NYC rats “as big as cats”?
Even they do not want to be near the stench of these Occupiers.
Occupiers? We used to call them bums back in the day.
.
NY State Judge just ruled the OWS jerks can go back in the park
But they cannot bring in or use tents, shelters, igloos, quonset huts, or classic Airstream trailers
The creeps will still attempt anything they can to create another Kent State incident
Come on heavy snow and ice and sleet and sub-zero temperatures and a record blizzerd!
.
Lol, I agree! I hadn't heard the final decision of that judge. I saw the police tearing down tents early today and a guy crawled out of one - it was funny.
I haven't kept up on this like you have, wondering who was providing food to these people, obviously democrat groups or unions. In my city you have to have all kinds of permits to have a food booth at a festival.
