You guys act like this was a plot against 'poor' Petarno.

He was going anyway, he should have left earlier.

Now, the President needs to removed from his tenured position as well and it might still be done.

The reason nothing changes is because Penn State has brainwashed followers such as 'twink' who go around saying WE ARE PENN STATE' even though their school was involved in one of the great coverups in college history.

Instead of righteous anger, you attempt to shift guilt and blame the homosexual culture, the media, the 'mob mentality' etc, everyone but those individuals (at least 7) who knew SOMETHING was wrong and did nothing or next to nothing.

Penn State Alumni should be very ashamed of not only what happened at the school, but the reaction by the members of that school who defend the school at all cost, and throw common decency out the window.

Not at all. What I’m questioning is the fact that of all the bad actors here, Paterno is the only one to have been fired outright. Nothing has been said whether Sandusky lost his emeritus status; Curley, Shultz, and McQuery are on paid leave while the investigation continues; Spanier is still a tenured professor. Sandusky was prevented by Paterno from getting the head coaching job in 98. Spanier has been trying for years to get rid of Paterno because JoePa got in the way of his LGBT friendly agenda. Curley and Schultz were both judged by the Grand Jury report as not being credible - Paterno was said to be cooperating and truthful. McQuery, well what is the locker room story today? If the trustees were going to get rid of anybody, they had a lot better choices than JoePa. Plot against Paterno - ESPN and Sports Illustrated have been leading the push to retire Paterno for years, and the Boston Herald reported an anonymous trustee saying the sudden firing of Paterno happened because of media pressure. Maybe my problem is I read too much trying to see all sides of the issue, and I thought a contrary opinion might be useful. On several other threads I posted links to some articles.
