STATE COLLEGE, Pa (Reuters) - The lawyer for the Penn State football coach charged with child sex abuse said in an interview on Monday the boy at the center of a 2002 incident detailed in the grand jury's report had been identified and said it never happened.
Jerry Sandusky, the former defensive coordinator for the Penn State Nittany Lions, was arrested more than a week ago on charges he sexually abused eight young boys over a 15-year period.
Speaking to sportscaster Bob Costas, Joe Amendola, who represents Sandusky, said "we anticipate we're going to have at least several of those kids come forward and say, 'This never happened.'"
Sandusky, in a telephone interview with Costas that aired at the same time, acknowledged he had horsed around and showered with children involved in the Second Mile charity he founded.
But he denied he was a pedophile.

The latest is that he has changed his mind and is staying with the Browns. He’s not a coach, he’s in the office.
I don’t know what the assistant coach witnessed. I know the following:
1. At some point Sandusky was reported to authorities and the DA declined to prosecute him in 1998.
2. A grand jury just indicted Sandusky on multiple charges.
3. The grand jury report says a PSU then graduate assistant testified he witnessed Sandusky and a kid in the shower of the PSU locker room.
4. No witness including the then graduate assistant has been cross examined by the defense yet.
So excuse me if I do not participate in the witch burning.
The Sandusky apologists are going to be coming out of the woodwork now. All the kids and witnesses are liars. The GR report is fiction. The poor football guy, victim of an epic shakedown. You watch, it’s coming.

No. The DA did not have sufficient evidence of a crime to proceed to trial.
this is why we shouldn’t allow predatory monsters out on bail...they start to look up their victims and make them offers.

Did you not hear what Sandusky said to Bob Costas two hours ago on NBC? You defend that?

Sandusky’s son Jon played for Penn State when McQueary was quarterback, and the following year, 1999, which was Sandusky’s last. I’ve read quotes from years past with Jon, Kara, and Matt all saying nice things about their father. I wouldn’t be surprised if he limited his molestation to the Second Mile kids he had readily at hand, and used his solid family life as a cover in case an accuser ever popped up.
Just like Jacko entered into those sham marriages and had babies made out of the test tube.
