That’s one Urkel Moment no one wants to see happen except for The Emasculated One in the Oval Orifice!

That brings back memories from the 1950s when I was a kid.
We lived in the country and axes received regular use. I can still recall my parents several times warning me to stay at a certain location when someone was chopping.
The reason of course was that an axe head could fly off the handle. I don’t think I ever saw that happen but it was still good advice.

I’m glad they don’t cancel baseball games every time a bat breaks off and hits a fan in the head.
What a bunch of girly lumbermen.

That brings back memories from the 1950s when I was a kid. Anybody remember the Johnny Carson episode when he had a Native American guy throw a hatchet at a wooden target that had a person outlined on it. Yep, a direct hit right between the goal posts.

A New Zealand man is recovering in hospital after being hit in the groin by a flying axe head during a wood chopping exhibition.Man, I hate it when that happens.

It was
Ed Ames, son of a Ukrainian Jew, who played Mingo on
Daniel Boone.

It was Ed Aims, who played ‘Mingo’ on the Danial Boon Series. The show opened with Aims ‘splitting a tree’ with a thrown tommahawk. Johnny had him throw a tommahawk at a target.
