Canada’s prime minister says he made it clear in a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama that Canada will step up its efforts to sell oil to Asia since the Obama administration delayed a decision on an oil pipeline.

...

Harper says the U.S. move highlights why Canada must increase its efforts to diversify its exports to Asia. He says he communicated that clearly to Obama.

Why not?

Canada’s government owes it to their people to maximize the selling of their resources to willing buyers.

God knows why Harper would waste anymore time on us while we have this fool running the show.

Man oh man, what the hell is wrong with this guy?

O-bozo clearly has some sort of genetic defect.

Sefdistructikus dumassakiss syndrome. Runs rampant in the Kenyan community I hear.

Canadians should expect their government to earn the best netback possible. China has a huge freight disadvantage.

But oil sold is always going to produce more dollars than oil that is not sold.

Even if they sell it for less than the US would have paid due to transportation expenses, they are going to sell it.

Madness, sheer madness. All the arguments the environmentalists put forth are bogus. And all the arguments about CO2 are meaningless. This should be a major campaign issue.

It’s probably because we’re too “lazy” to build the pipeline. /s

If I can get more for my oil tomorrow, I won’t sell today.
That is fundamental to today’s oil biz.

Tomorrow, yes hold.

Next year, you start looking at the cash flow and start to wonder will it be one year or three.

I would question the general sanity of the voting public given where we have reached already. And recognize that somewhere, there is a limit.

We had a unique set of circumstances when Obama ran against McCain and created the level of sanity we enjoy today.

W was very unpopular, McCain caught W’s unpopularity and couldn’t buy a vote, Obama hid his background, the MSM didn’t take a closer look.

America needs an unbiased 4th Estate to make our Republic work.

Canada “will look”? Where? At what? They better not be peeking in my windows again! Candian Peeping Toms! Look across the northern border and all you see is telescopes pointed south. All you Canadian women better not be peeking in to the second window from the right on the first floor at 9pm to try and see me taking a shower!
