This will be two polls that put Gingrich on top.
Here’s a wild speculation. I label it as such, so people understand that I’m wildly speculating.
It seems that the Cain Supporters screwed up. They needed to attack all the other conservatives, and they were doing a really good job. But they came across as so negative, that they felt the needed to be kind to at least one other candidate.
So they chose to be nice to Gingrich, since he didn’t have a chance (a lot of candidates did the same thing with Cain, ignoring him and sayin great things about him when he was an also-ran, and it worked out badly for them).
And suddenly, Gingrich is shooting to the top. Now they realize their mistake, and you will see lots of anti-Gringrich stuff being posted.
But remember, Cain’s team’s response to the rediculous sexual harrassment claims was great, since his fundraising went up and he kept climbing in the polls.
>>It seems that the Cain Supporters screwed up. <<
Oh for heaven’s sake. Cain’s supporters?
EVERY candidate’s supporters have attacked. In all of history, this has happened. It hasn’t been all nice/nice in the history of our country.
When I supported Bachmann, Palin people attacked me.
When I moved on to Perry, Palin people AND Bachmann people attacked me.
I like Cain and I like Newt. I’ve had people attack me from ALL the camps. The only person we all agree on is Mitt.
Personally, I would be thrilled with just about anyone over Obama.
You never made a single rational factual post against Cain. Instead you have recklessly engaged in smear, personal attack and accusation at Cain.
Don't you DARE have the childish arrogance to project YOUR tactics onto the Cain people.
You should be asking yourself why Cain has never lead in the CNN poll.
“The survey indicates that only a bare majority of Republicans tend to believe Cain, and more than a third say he should end his presidential campaign”
Stacking the deck anyone? Other polls have shown 75 percent of Republicans believe that Cain is innocent. So clearly this is a push poll.
I don’t believe this poll, but I do think the PPP poll is reasonably likely as Cain has likely fallen a few points, most of which has probably gone to Newt.
