Chelsea Clinton is going to work for NBC News.
The network said Monday that it has hired the 31-year-old Clinton to work on projects for the "NBC Nightly News" and Brian Williams' newsmagazine "Rock Center." She will do projects in the "Making a Difference" series, generally positive stories about individuals and companies.
And supports the OWS types, too!
She should have some children. STFU & She should let one of the 25 million unemployed/underemployed take the job and free up the capital she is hogging in order to self glorify!
Guess that hedge fund job didn’t work out. What qualifies her to hold a position like this other than the fact that she’s the child of politicians? Thankfully I don’t watch TV news channels, so I won’t have to turn her ugly face off when she’s on-screen.
I would imagine it’s because people already know who Chelsea Clinton is, and Mezvinsky just doesn’t roll off the tongue as well.
I know a couple of people who got married after they got published, so they just kept their maiden names to avoid the whole problem.
Not really a reflection on the strength of a marriage, I don’t think.
Maybe she can do stories about the unemployed, homeless sleeping on sewer lids due to government inaction. Oh wait, that will only be a story if a Republican should actually happen to win the WH in 2013. When is the inauguration, January 21? So precisely that will be a story on 1/21/2013 at...1:00 PM Eastern?
Did she get fired from her last job?.
Chelsea employed, FINALLY? And on the heels of all her charity work. How WILL she be able to work it all in, what with her eastern seaboard schedule of teas and tenderness with the Hollywood Leftists on the Vinyard, all counting both their cash and celebrity mentions in the financial and society pages of the NYT.
I still remember the interview she gave right after 9/11 where she worried what would happen due to the Bush tax cuts.
There’s no doubt she meets the requirement for a demrat propagandist. I lost track. Where’s our old friend Stepanopolus? Also from the Clinton Administration.
Bush is a RINO so it is not surprising if his kids take that road. The Marxist propaganda organs owe a lot to RINOs.

She’s going to be doing projects? Like what? Making an ashtray out of playdo? Making her daddy a paperweight out of the laws on perjury? How about a pasted-macaroni sculpture of Al Gore carrying around Chinese bribe money?

I am with you..The children of politician’s should get elected if they want the influence. Having a political job should not become a legacy for one’s children..If they compete and honestly earn their place, then fine..But, of course, NBC, is the most left leaning of the three major networks and they will not play fair at anything. Chelsea might be good at this job..Time and ratings will tell that story.
Part of the crony capitalism they complain happening everywhere but at MSNBC.
could care less if she or one of the Bush daughters or mccain’s daugher whomever works where. We haven’t watched network news for YEARS. We barely watch news at all anymore. FR is our place second only to Rush Limbaugh who come on in 15 minutes btw. :)
I can remember when she went off to University to do pre-med.
I would like to propose a friendly motion to FR that for Chelsea Clinton threads, images of her likeness be prohibited/removed. We see her mom and dad all the time and thats bad enough, how much more do we have to suffer in seeing her as well?
