The only surety is that if Romney is nominated through deception and diversion by the MSM, he WILL lose the election, period. He is their ‘candidate’ to lose to Obama. ANY information you see as “he is the leader” etc. is bogus.

We conservatives are going to pick our own candidate this go round, thank you very much.

If/When Slick Willard gets over 30%, then its time to worry. In no poll has he topped 25%. That number has remained consistent all year. What’s changed is the standing of the rest of the field. There are three serious Romney alternatives: Cain, Gingrich and Perry. The rest will drop out after Iowa, one by one by one because they don’t have much support and they don’t have money to compete effectively with Romney. Eventually, conservatives will coalesce around Cain or Gingrich. The party will only nominate Romney if it falls for the notion he is the “inevitable” candidate. The MSM and the establishment have their preferred candidate. Most Republicans want someone else. That’s what polls like this one don’t bother to highlight.
