Watching the activities on KATU here in the Portland area. The announcer seems to be calling out the mayor for not enforcing his own deadline. He says the overwhelming callers to his station are demanding that the police start busting heads, or at least start ending the occupation as promised.

The protesters are soft. Not having sleep is going to wear them down pretty quickly. I think this is a good strategy. The police can rotate in fresh bodies anytime they want. The protesters can’t.

Watching the live feed spewed by the compliance lap media makes we want to vomit. One of the "reporters" called two men moving furniture to create an occupy barricade "gentlemen."

Apparently, police "peacefully engaging" with the protestors means putting your tail between your legs and slinking off.

Many areas of this country have completely lost the will to enforce the law, peace, and order. This will be capitalized on by the anarchists as law enforcement continues to capitulate to them.

I don't know who that is reporting but I don't think it's an official "media" person..I heard her describe herself as just out of college. Not that the media wouldn't work this way.

I was listening for a while....they're getting really tired and worn out. It sounds like they're confused about what's going on. The police are doing it right...they've got them up and moving, alert and on guard. Pretty soon the will to sleep and be comfortable is going to overthrow their will to "occupy".

No, the police are NOT doing this right. The Occucommunists are declaring victory. What else can you call it? The protesters cowed police and got what they wanted. They will never leave now, not without much, much MORE violence than would have occurred had the deadline been enforced.
