Any GOPer in trouble because of being on MSM deserves what they get.

There is no reason for a conservative to be on any DNC/Soros/State media any longer.

Someone needs to share with the GOP elite the news of AlGores invention and also of radio and Cable news.

I agree. To have these far left ‘news’ outlets host the GOP debates is ludicrous. To my knowledge conservatives don’t watch these networks so why have them play host?

One of the best comments in the debate is when Bachmann said (paraphrasing) that Obama listens more to the ACLU than the CIA.

Again, as in previous “debates”, the moderators intervene whenever an actual debate threatens to break out.

The candidates should plan their own debates. They are the ones who need to get their ideas out, and it does no good to go into a format in which the questions and the rules of engagement are designed to make sure it doesn’t happen.

Debates managed by the media have been bad as long as I can remember, and they are certainly no better this time out. Some candidates hardly get a chance to speak, and the ones who do get cut off about the time they begin to actually go somewhere. Questions as often as not are framed from a Dem perspective which forces the candidates to waste valuable time responding to “when did you stop beating your wife” types of questions instead of laying out the case they actually want to make.

That said, Gingrich shined. Bachmann, Santorum, and Mitt all did well. Perry wasn’t as bad as I expected. The “moderators” were a major obstruction. They need to scrap this format once and for all.

They’ve all been rigged in that they’ve all been geared toward helping Mitt Romney.

Sure, no argument from me. All the major networks are phoney baloney purveyors of social smut and political agitprop. Their mission is to conform people not inform them.

"I love it when the “media” gets caught orchestrating our elections."

Talk about stupid social engineering...you would think some people would learn, after the first failed attempts, to stop playing G-d. But I'm sure the addiction to power is similar to gambling, after it works once they just can't help themselves to another slice of "their" kingdom.

It was The Mittens Hour.

If the other candidates expected to be given equal exposure, they were sadly disappointed.

Chin up, Michele. Life isn’t fair!

If lawyers and Doctors can be disbarred, or even jailed for mal practice, why cant the same be done for media? Do they not do as much damage as a bad lawyer? Can we disbar and suspend some peoples ability to broadcast or print their opinion.

Because... well, I suppose most of it's to do with the First Amendment and the fact that the only way to do what you're suggesting is to have a state-run outlet akin to the BBC.

The GOP needs to stop letting the left moderate their debates, they will never get any depth into the issues otherwise.

That is usually true, but, IMO, the CNN-hosted debate was the best so far.

Pelley was awful. I think the little girly man was intimidated by some of the real men on the stage.

Wait wait wait.

From the looks of it, the email was about a webshow AFTER the debates, not the debates themselves.

If that’s the case this isn’t *quite* a smoking gun. It’s another piece in the puzzle—is Dickerson stating for a fact that Bachmann isn’t getting air time, or is he assuming that she won’t be front and center since her numbers have slid ever since the Iowa straw poll?

Find an email from an exec, Pelley or someone at CBS News management and you’ll have something more concrete... but this certainly is strong circumstantial evidence that something’s going on.

No actually a state bar can be created made up of at least their own colleagues, yes they would most likely be scum but there is not an agency that one can create some semblance of accountability or standard.

You don’t need an agency. You’ve got ABC and NBC and Fox sitting right over there.

Only thing better than scooping the competition is airing their dirty laundry.
