I would vote for Newt in a heartbeat. As far as his past goes, we have all made mistakes and have bettered ourselves. But my concern is how the MSM will bring up his past issues.
There is no debate or defense possible to fight that smear machine. Newt would be helpless. I wish it were different, but we all know the reality of what they are.
Agree 100%
Bachman is smoking hot, intelligent and the most prolific Conservative female voice in the US Congress. With that said, I can't get behind her for the GOP nomination. However, if she were to get it, I would walk thru fire to vote for her over Obama.
Anyone have a link to the 30 minute online portion? Did CBS even archive it?
“Iran has never attacked a country...”
This is conclusive proof, admissible in court, that you are a mental incompetent. Someone could use that comment of yours, in court, to get power of attorney and confiscate all your money & property, if you had any.
I find Newt's voice irritating. He sounds like he's talking with a mouthful of something.
However, I think HE"S very impressed with himself.
I knew Paul was running for the presidency of Iran!
Done it a million times. No worries!
Here’s the response that’s sitting in your inbox:
I agree 100%.
Newts got a lot to answer for. However, hes waaaaay better than Ricardo Perry, Myth Romney, RuPaul, and that Huntsman guy, whoever he is.
Like I said: Cains my guy, but I wouldnt mind seeing Bachmann, Santorum, or Gingrich win. My main concern is that a CONSERVATIVE wins.
They are pulling all the stops to defame Cain's character to bring down his ratings.
It's time for Tea Party TV...Truth and nothing about the truth.
Mr. Cain is working on it.

Wish Perry and Santorum would drop out. Not going anywhere.
It would give the candidates more time if the fringe people would drop out, but maybe they don’t think they are fringe people.
Yep. Being realistic, "working on the right problem", will come up with the best solution. I learned this from Mr. Cain (and others) in professional settings. Now it is time Herman also do this himself, which he has done for years and can do on this Foreign Policy stuff--because believe me Obama has SO damaged the United States in foreign affairs...take it from me here overseas. Cain, with discipline daily, will find it is not rocket science to fortify this flank, and also, there are so many many many ways he can whip the living crap out of Obama's position on this in the debates next year. MAN I hope the candidate reads FR or his inner campaign circle does.
Thanks! :)
Slap away glad that you are enjoying yourself.
Ask Perry what the expiration date on the visas would be not me.

I would vote for Gingrich in the general if it came down to that. Its just that I see a lot of people so enthusiastic about his debating skills that they might want to overlook his history.
*******
You know — i get so tired of this same old theme. When Newt was speaker, didn’t he say he ended his term w/ I can’t forget how many millions IN THE BLACK debt wise? Those were the best years in recent memory. a lot of it was due to Newt and the Republicans holding Clinton’s feet to the fire on issue after issue.
Newt has baggage, but he has a lot more success behind him. I wish people would look and judge him in terms of his past successes and not just follow the bit about the “baggage.”
Agreed. I would certainly support her if she got the nomination- or any of them for that matter.
Any of them have to be better than the Marxist/Muslim.
Perry's views on instate tuition for ILLEGAL aliens is identical to that of California's uber-liberal governor Jerry Brown. I've yet to see one legitimate argument as to how that represents the conservative view.
