A last-ditch drive ends in disappointment for Penn State, which loses to Nebraska, 17-14. Not having any timeouts crippled the offense, which completed two passes short of a first down, including one with seconds left, but couldn't stop the clock.
This is a different Saturday in State College. Immediately after McGloin's final pass fell incomplete, the Penn State crowd cheered the team's effort: the cheering grew to a roar as the two teams again met a midfield, such as they did right before the game.
Again, as occurred several times during the game, there were chants of "We love JoePa." Interviewed after the game, interim coach Tom Bradley said that what Penn State has gone through over the last week is "unprecedented in the history of college sports."

The ex and I get along fine, especially for our son.
I have despised OSU for well over a decade.
My son is 15, a USAF JROTC cadet and well aware of which institutions of higher learning are fag factories.
Good to hear.

Ohio State is one of the most hated teams in college football, but I don't have a problem with them in particular. I used to root for them often because them doing good often made Penn State look good. Now, with the Big Ten's division system, that has changed.
My son is 15, a USAF JROTC cadet and well aware of which institutions of higher learning are fag factories.
That's good. How does he know? I had no idea which schools were fag factories and which were not back when I was trying to decide on which college to go to. The only trend I noticed was the more "elite," the gayer they became. I found the state schools to be less gay, and was totally unaware (besides just a gut feeling from looking at him) of Spanier's preferences.
What type of school is he considering?
I know it hurts to have your argument completely destroyed. Your best bet is to simply admit that you weren't thinking logically (possibly due to other emotional baggage) and try to do better next time. But ad hominem attacks just make you look weaker.
Good to hear.

Good. How does he know? With a few obvious exceptions, I had no idea which schools were fag factories and which were not when I was deciding on which college to go to. I just noticed that the state schools tended to be less gay than the more "elite" schools.
Well then, the rest are either enablers or voyeurs.
Exactly.
The candlelight vigil on campus Friday featured the Beatles song "Imagine"
(Seems like Penn State wants to "imagine" heaven & hell out of existence ala John Lennon)
I wonder if some of these students weren't aware this was going on...after all if faculty stepped upon these happenings it would certainly be more than possible a student did as well somewhere along the line.
I've schooled him, as any responsible parent (especially one writing checks) does.
Right now he's looking at Miami of Ohio and UC.
Not sure where you're getting that. I happened to be at the game. In fact I was close enough to make out some of what the gentleman from Nebraska was saying - because aside from 4-5 idiots the stadium was quiet enough to hear a pin drop. That's 5 dopes in a crowd of 107,000...talk about guilt by association.
Because people do not want to admit there is a correlation between homosexuals and pedahils.....the Catholic church had remarkable similar issues and even they attempted to state the issues weren't homosexual in nature.
My belief is the "science" and the "Psycologosts and all those who study this will never truly reveal the connections...it will be time and again squashed by the homosexual community and it's leaders etc.... because if reported as true then all their work for equality goes right out the window....every bit of it...and any hope for further demands will never be realized.
Keeper...the coaching staff knew as of 1998. The former sports editor of State College's newspaper says so (Bracken). Barry Switzer says so -- in context of how college coaching community is a "tight" group.
And here nobody would hire THE top defensive coach in the country who was only 55 when he became available.
Obviously, Sandusky had the football credentials; the public resume'. Some officials @ other schools were in the know beyond that. It's not to say they knew specifics; but they knew enough rumblings.
Well, of course. (Which is why the people of State College were crucifying McQueary on regional talk radio Thursday/Friday...and why he's rec'd death threats -- some probably from Pennsylvanians)
This was about fifteen years ago, but Miami of Ohio was one of the schools I looked at. I could not tell a difference between its level of gayness and that of Penn State, Akron, Kent State, Ohio, etc.
Actually, Ohio seemed a little gay.
And the guys who painted their chests “For The Boys,” right? Good Lord man, how disgusting is that?
How naive can you get, flintsilver?
The NCAA has a history of hitting the rewind button to find past violations and punishing present teams. Sometimes teams have had the number of scholarships reduced...to the detriment of future teams...who were in high school at the time.
Tell you what. Write a letter to the NCAA and tell them to stop that practice based upon your all-wonderful wisdom.
If that makes you feel better, run with it...
Didn’t see it, but that sounds a bit tacky. Not disgusting, but tacky.
No it's not.. but I chance saying many of these people are suffering from an 'inability' to squarely face the facts... they simply cannot 'process this in their minds'.
Similar to members within the catholic church who could not imagine possible the Pope was protecting priests. Imagine if the pope had been "fired" what that would do!
Are you really this depraved?
You are supporting people who raped children? Really?
Is this what people like you in this Country have come?
Penn State is a University, supposed to be a center of higher learning.
Had the ‘people’ at the game merely kept it about the game, then this thread wouldn’t be as it is now.
You seem to be the one with all the answers, so I pose this question to you.... If it were your son/brother/nephew, would you feel so proud of Penn State? Would you be defending these perverts, and yes I am calling Joe P a pervert. The Head Coach doesn’t know what’s going on in HIS locker room? Seriously?
They should all be brought up on charges. Yes, even Joe.
So was it the word “boy-raper” “faggot” or “all” that you deemed abusive?
