Seriously, I was wondering the same thing!
I have been REALLLLLY Surprised by some of the comments here...
There is nothing new under the sun. When an idol/god is shown to be a false one, this is what happens. Some go away saddened that the idol has fallen, yet realize it/he/she was an idol. Others will realize that in time. But until the do, they will do as the last group - find any way to keep their idol on the throne because to do anything less is to admit that they were led astray. Sports is just one example.
Ok Lupie. Peace.
All that really matters in the world of college ball today is that Purdue just beat Ohio State. Again. ;-)
No im on the narrow road, perhaps you should read the bible more before you start accusing people of being in children.
You are a foul human being.
Yes, that IS a good outcome of a game! I am a Purdue grad! :)
Dennis Prager notes that Torah is a good instruction manual.
Have a wonderful journey.shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiachYou seem totally unaware of

You seem to think you are in a position to judge the salvation of others.
Go bugger yourself.

Seek YHvH while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near.
Bicentennial grad here in ‘76. We got a cool diploma cover - but my dog chewed it up. hahaha
Its easy to quote the Bible. You are the one who saw something perverted in a simple statement unrelated to anything sexual.
Look into your own heart before you throw stones.
“No, youre not alone. Nothing but the biggest collection of spoiled, whinny, ignorant, self-indulgent clueless little brats any generation has ever produced.”
To think one day these spoiled, whinny, ignorant, self-indulgent clueless little brats will leave college, maybe get married, but at least will have kids. Note the key word, “have kids”. Then I promise you that karma will hit them when they send their little boy off with some big shot in the community and their precious child gets it in the shower. Not wishing this on them, mind you only karma can be one hell of a b!tch slap.
I don’t want to hear about it when it happens to their child, I really don’t. What is worse you know they will cry foul.
All due respect to the Torah but there just isn’t any hard and fast rules with kids— except that there are no hard and fast rules. :-)
Yup, “Instant Karma’’. Like you I wouldn’t want anyones child to suffer this horror. You’re right, should this ever happen to a child of one of these clueless little twits they’d be screaming blue bloody murder. It’s a whole different matter when its your kid.
“Brainwashed’’. Exactly. They certainly aren’t being taught anything useful. Not in the obvious sense if students feel that a football coach warrants their rioting because they’re more concerned about him and not the rape of a child. Certainly one can’t paint the entire student body with the same brush, nor most college students. But between this and the “Occupy’’ crowd something is very wrong with academia today.
I know. Torah discribes that.
As we were/are parents, so were we once children. I think the Commandments get it best; “Honor thy Mother and Father’’. I really think that ‘’mother’’ is just another way to spell ‘’love’’(a good mother, that is.) And I think the perhaps the greatest thing any father can do for his children is to love their mother. I know mine sure did.
