I think BREAKING the announcement on Savage's show was the subtle hint that Herman Cain no longer endorses Mitt Rino.
PERIOD!
To: MNJohnnie
I figure Cain rightfully distancing himself from Romney, and positioning himself for Gingrich if something happens there as well.
I’m sure American conservatives are telling him they don’t like Romney.

No conservative would.
However, RINOmney would make a great VP for the Obamaloon.
He’s just as clueless as Biden, but he sounds wonderful.

Herman just said this on Savage. It would make no sense, Romney isn’t conservative and Herman would be muzzled.

Romney is going to be President of the Homo Scouts (or something like that).

But he endorsed Romney in 2008

He didn’t “announce” it. He was asked the question by both Cavuto and Savage. Both asked him that question today.

Considering that we had McCain, Romney and Huckabee, there weren’t many choices there.

He’s too old to be VP for 8 years then run for President with the goal of being President for 8 more years.
Think about it, he would be 67 when he takes office if he’s elected in 2012.

Gingrich is perfect to lead this nation now and he is more informed on how to get things done than any candidate running. GO NEWT

he has the 999 or the 909 now; he once endorsed Romney but now he won’t be his vice president? he even mentioned Romney during one of the debates along with Newt. What changed his mind?

I’m not going to lie. It was not a moment of happiness pulling the lever for McCain, and in the end it didn’t matter, America still got screwed by idiots who felt Obama gave them meaning.

My concern is that as little as a month ago he had no problem with that concept. If he were still running behind Mittens, would he still be on his bandwagon? The key to understanding Herman Cain is that he's a businessman. When he was an unknown conservative his competition was not Romney, but other conservatives. Now that he's the number 1 conservative it's time to turn toward his next competitor for the crown, Romney. After that it's Obama.
To: MNJohnnie
I heard it and he said he couldn’t be Romney’s vp due to he wanted his 9-9-9 plan and doesn’t want Mitt’s 59 point plan. He said he could not go around the coutnry promoting Romney’s plan.

In the interview tonight on Savage, Cain said he respects Romney as a businessman, but they are not on the same page regarding policies.
I think that is what he has always meant when asked about who he respects — Romney, but only from a business perspective.
