My Night With Herman Cain and Why He Isn't Finished Yet -- John Ziegler

Editorial by John Ziegler My Night With Herman Cain and Why He Isn't Finished Yet 11/8/2011 I have seen a lot of strange scenes in my life and career, but few could ever top the Herman Cain event I attended Monday night for its pure “Alice in Wonderland” feel.

I was among about 300 conservatives who attended a private speech the presidential candidate had been scheduled to give for weeks. When dinner was delayed awaiting his arrival, some of us wondered if Cain was going to cancel due to the obvious firestorm surrounding the numerous allegations of sexual harassment which came to an apparent crescendo earlier in the day with a Gloria Allred sponsored press conference. As it turned out, the delay was only due to typically bad LA traffic from Jimmy Kimmel’s studio to the hotel.

So once again John Ziegler proves is an another faux Conservative “Preemptive Surrender” monkey.

Rather then fight for the Right, he wants to premtively surrender to the Leftist because fighting the Left is too hard work

Sick, sad and pathetic are the nicest things that can be said about John Ziegler’s work.

John should get out more. In order to properly formulate an objective opinion (as he attempts), he’ll need both hands.

“Rather then fight for the Right, he wants to premtively surrender to the Leftist because fighting the Left is too hard work.”

I agree with this, and there are too many conservatives out there right now that are just like him. I feel sick that, even knowing what the MSM and others are doing (and have done many times before), they are so quick to just jump ship.

I still believe that Cain is the best Republican candidate out there right now, and this latest firestorm has happened because the Dems (and Elite Repubs.) are freaking out with fear.

“A guy who is not qualified to be president and who can’t possibly win a general election is leading the Republican race and his supporters don’t seem to care that he is at best a fraud “

He must be talking about Governor Perry. Next to Perry, Bush II sounds like William F. Buckley when he speaks.

Maybe he’s talking about Mit Romney. Romney’s Romneycare is a total failure and served as a model for Obamacare. Besides, Romney looks and talks like a Wall Street Billboard for a Presidential Advertisment - with no substance behind the promotional gimmick. Possibly the most liberal Repubican candidate wannabes to emerge in decades.

Or, perhaps he is talking about the cipher in the Whiate House today. A man with no background, possible Islamic connections, Marxist radical friends, who attended a church run by a black racist buddy, and who never ran so much as a lemonade stand.

Zeigler and people like him are worse than liberal. They have defective mental abilities but unfortunately have the ability to express their illogical opinions on webnet blogs for equally mentally challenged people to read and believe.

If the G.O.P. can’t beat Obama with a conservative candidate, its FINISHED as viable political party and the best candidate on the horizon is Herman Cain.

While [the extended and nearly unanimous standing ovation] did not surprise me (as proven by the testimony of even O.J. Simpson, accused celebrities tend to get notoriously positive reactions in person), I found it to be sad, pathetic and politically dangerous.

How repulsive. Mr. (and I use the title entirely out of convention, certainly not with respect) Ziegler is entirely out of line comparing anonymous accusations by anonymous accusers to the plethora of evidence against Simpson. I'm embarrassed for him.

From the article: However, his strategy seems to be to not just “double down” but go “all in” that each of his many accusers are flat out lying and that only he is telling the truth. This is not only dangerous because...

What if he is telling the truth? What should he do then? I just heard a guest on Fox News Martha McCalum's show. They were discussing Iran's nuclear threat, and the value of sanctions. The guest actually said: "
Iran has a Herman Cain problem. They have both done something terrible in the past".

This went unchallenged by Martha. So, now there is a moral equivalency between Iran and Herman Cain. UNBELIEVABLE!

So we are now in a situation that is beyond bizarre. A guy who is not qualified to be president and who can’t possibly win a general election is leading the Republican race and his supporters don’t seem to care that he is at best a fraud (for reasons that have nothing to do with his treatment of women) and, at worst, a “monster” as one of his accusers has now called him. -- John Ziegler

I love it when someone yells out to the crowd

..."The Emperor is naked! He has no clothes on!"

Thanks JZ!! : )

“I still believe that Cain is the best Republican candidate out there right now, and this latest firestorm has happened because the Dems (and Elite Repubs.) are freaking out with fear.”

BINGO!!!!!!

This is 2008 Take Two!!

McCain was the most liberal, LEAST likely GOP candidate to win a general election, and yet the one MOST likely to cooperate with the left if elected. The Dems did everything possible to get him nominated and so did the GOP “establishment”.

Four years later, this is repeating itself with Romney and Perry in place of McCain.

A guy who is not qualified to be President... the word of John Ziegler, cast in concrete.

But it gets better, "who can't possibly win a general election" and who is at best a fraud and at worst a monster.

Man, oh, man, I'm a Cain supporter but I wouldn't vote for a fraud or a monster, now that John has told me the truth, I want all of my donation money refunded.

As soon as this post goes through, I'm going to give that fraud or monster another donation.

John, ESAD.

Tell the establishment to stuff it. If we let them defeat us with this orchestrated attack on Cain, we deserve to lose, and we will. Fight back.

I am upset that conservatives are so willing to be intimidated and bullied by the MSM. THIS IS THE TIME to have backbone and stand up to these hypocrites—NOT THE TIME to give up!!!!

We have them on the ropes—let’s break their monopoly on telling the American people what to think and who to vote for. Send them a message RIGHT NOW!

What he fails to explain is why he’s so convinced Cain can’t beat Obama.

Right here, right now, I want someone to list and define what it is that qualifies a person to be President?

What qualified Hillary? What qualified Obama? What qualified Bush, Clinton, Edwards, Kerry?

Huh? Anyone?

I don’t think we have ever had too many of them that are totally qualified in every aspect, that is why they hire people.

Problem I have with many of them is poor character.

Well, to be fair, the guest could have been referring to “voting Republican” as the “terrible thing” Cain did in his past.
