With the possibility of making it to a primary increasingly slim for Herman Cain as he faces a number of sexual harassment accusations, Charles Krauthammer visited Bill O’Reilly tonight to give a review of his press conference.
Krauthammer was impressed with Cain’s “high wire act” but warned him that he had made one mistake that had surfaced before– accusing the Democrats of having something to do with the story surfacing, after his chief of staff previously accused the Perry campaign of the same. Krauthammer noted that he did believe Cain could survive, “but it won’t be easy.” In today’s “high wire act,” Krauthammer argued Cain “crossed a wire just about intact,” but for him to “blindly blame it on the Democratic machine” did him no good: “you can’t go around making charges if you don’t know they’re true or not.”
O’Reilly agreed, noting there was a lot against Cain, including CNN (which he called “the Cain Network now over there”) and the establishment Republicans, who “weren’t on his side to begin with.” Despite that, Krauthammer argued, “the establishment Republicans aren’t behind this,” and warned Cain should “stop throwing out accusations.” He also advised voters to keep the presumption of innocence, though O’Reilly didn’t believe this was possible: “we live in a country where judgments are based on nothing and people are destroyed,” he concluded.
Uh Mark Block could accuse Politico for having ties to Adolf Hitler for all I care. They deserve it. They are scumbags.
And as for the “Democrat Machine”? So what. Even if they weren’t behind this— they have smeared enough conservatives let’s just call it even.
Now, an invisible connection. Edward Bennett Williams used to employee Greg Craig, the lawyer for the Cuban diplomat in the UnitedStates.
So, I asked the other day if this Bennett guy who succors poor widdle miss victim #2 is a relative of Williams ~ hunh? Anyone know, nephew, grand nephew maybe? Is this guy a buddy of Greg Craig and his Cuban Commie buddies?
That'd drag this particular scandal right into the lap of the Cuban Commie attack on Senator Rubio!!!!!

Actually, I agree with Charles on this one. I think Herman needs to just stick to his firm denials and make statements like the Home Run Press Conf yesterday.
Let underlings make other statements and release information. But, VET the information first so Block doesn’t continue making erroneous accusations — find out for sure what is what, dot the I’s and cross the T’s and THEN let loose with both barrels.
Charles is right. I do believe he is being falsely accused, but now Cain may very well be falsely accusing others as the source of the attacks. He started by blaming Perry, then maybe Romney, now Democrats. Get the proof, THEN lay the blame!
Didn’t Rush Limbaugh say last week that it didn’t matter who started the story about Cain? Its politics and something to be expected. If you can’t respond properly to this what will happen to Cain when the Obama machine attacks him?
The upside of this is that Herman Cain may mount a successful reductio ad absurdam defense. He might be the one springing the trap. If he keeps his wits about him and doesn’t let his anger overwhelm his reason.
Kraphammer has lost ALL credibility as a Conservative Spokesperson. Like many on FOX, he’s shilling for Romney.

Sorry, folks!!! POTUS Barack Hussein Obama is behind the Cain attack 100%!!! The truth will opt as these accusers of Herman Cain have the light of sunshine truth illuminating their many shortcomings and failings. These women are the agents of Obama, and...are quite incompetent and sleazy to boot!!! Watch out for Sharon Bialek. Methinks, this Bialek woman is truly female sleaze and low life at its finest hour!!! Her only quest in life, IMHO, is cash, cash, someone else’s cash!!! Rush, Sean, Bill, Mark.....best you guys due some serious digging on Ms. Bialek and her questionable past and actions!!! Rove & Krauthammer are dead wrong!!!
There’s less to work with when he’s fighting the GOP.
Fighting the Democrats will be like high schoolers dissecting a formaldehyded frog pinned to black wax. With such a rich lode of scandal, one will hardly know where to begin.
In some places I believe you'll find Young Republicans doing a bit of that.
Charles cannot possibly do that kind of work from a wheelchair ~ and besides he's a Democrat.
If you are a Republican, Charles is right. Will it happen with Cain? I don't know yet.
Clinton, Obama are examples that if you are the right party, you can get away with almost anything and pay no price.
Except for the fact I think Rove does a bit of stepping on the wild side I’d think he’d been tapping the Blond Lady (or wishing he could).
