Sounds to me like the Ped State prez, the Ped State VP, the Ped State AD, and Paterno himself would have been willing to sacrifice the entire under-12 male population to pedophiles in exchange for "maintaining" the glory of its football grandeur and dynasty.
It sounds to me that more than one of them "made a pact with the devil."
The guilty parties will get their just due once the prison doors shut behind them.
Joe Paterno has effectively been removed because of his complicity in the cover-up of Sandusky’s misbehavior, tarnished forever, despite his glorious, heroic and manly leadership that brought huge endowments to Penn State.
I call BS on the alumni associations who HAD to have some inkling what was going on, as this was an open secret within the Athletic Department and the alumni players who once played on the team. But in a conspiracy that would put the KKK to shame, the “old boys” held tight to this knowledge, knowing that to spill the beans would surely dry up the flow of cash.
The guy was there so long I doubt even this is close to the number of his victims.
It’s predators like Sandusky that the law needs to go after with all speed and focus.
Are we missing news from the kids and parents? If so many were involved, we must have some outspoken parents in this long history....somewhere. Who shut down the voices?
They need to go beyond the screenings they do, and dig deeper. The predators seem to be people with clean records.
It seems like these cases are happening more. There are probably others happening right now that haven't been discovered yet.
Pure evil.
It can cloud all the people doing good work.
This Sandusky guy really needs to drug out in public and shot Ghaddafi style.
