Joe Paterno has effectively been removed because of his complicity in the cover-up of Sandusky’s misbehavior, tarnished forever, despite his glorious, heroic and manly leadership that brought huge endowments to Penn State.

I call BS on the alumni associations who HAD to have some inkling what was going on, as this was an open secret within the Athletic Department and the alumni players who once played on the team. But in a conspiracy that would put the KKK to shame, the “old boys” held tight to this knowledge, knowing that to spill the beans would surely dry up the flow of cash.

A couple of decades ago, there was a superior court judge in King County, WA (basically Seattle) who worked the juvenile courts who brutally and sexually abused young boys caught in the judicial system. It was known by many people in the King County justice system and in the media, but covered up until the Seattle P-I finally decided to do a story on it. His name was Judge Gary Little and when the paper refused to spike the story, killed himself with a gun. Little would actually check out little boys for the weekend so he could abuse them both sexually and physically. Everyone who should have known it did nothing to protect those boys.
