Herman Cain says he'd be willing to take a lie detector test to prove he's being truthful when he says he has never behaved inappropriately with anyone.
But he says he won't submit to such an examination without a good reason.

I would think the accusers should take lie detector tests
And so should Gloria Allred for good measure.
The Cain hate will simply say, “he passed becasue he doesn’t consider what he did to be harassing”.
The accuser has the burden in this nation, they need to take the test.

The liberal media wants to make the lie detector test into a big circus and then harp on what a big circus this race has become.
Since it appears that we may be in for a big circus, might as well make it a huge circus, don’t you think?
Here is one suggestion that could be refined. The suggestion is that Cain agrees to take the test and if he fails, he drops out ... HOWEVER ... if he passes Gloria Allred retires and never, ever again appears on television!

In the interest of accuracy: Louisiana law is based on the Napoleonic Code. Texas law is based on English Common Law.
There’s no such thing as a lie detector test.
He should only submit to a test if the professional liar in chief will take one as well. Get Obama to take one and we will see......
I’m opposed to him doing this. Why should Herman Cain have to be the first presidential candidate in history to have to take a lie detector to quash these types of rumors?
If I were Cain I’d say “Yes, I will take a lie detector test as soon as the media demands that Obama take a lie detector test to refute the similar unsubstantiated allegations made last election by Larry Sinclair.” Force the media double standard to be a topic of debate tied to the lie detector issue, and the media will drop that idea like a hot rock.

Bingo! Presidential candidates don’t take lie detector tests. Guests on Sally Jesse Raphael type shows take lie detector tests. Suspected criminals take lie detector tests. If Cain agrees to do this, the media will pull every trick in the propaganda book to paint him in this light and associate Cain in the public’s mind with those type of people.
Bah, you know as well as I do that lie detector is just common parlance for a polygraph. It’s not accurate, but it’s the language that is in general use.
He shouldn’t take a lie detector test period. The accusers definitely should be the ones to take lie detector tests. I’m not sure they know what sexual harassment really is - definitely Bialek/Blech doesn’t. I DO.
This is a mistake on Mr Cains part.
He should have qualified it by saying he would be willing if the accusers where also willing.
I agree. It is an awful precedent for Cain to set. The accusers should take the test not a candidate.
Might be a good way get Zerobama forced into a Lie Detector Test. Bring plenty of ink for that Polygraph! :-)

I’d like to know the same thing. Maybe her “fiance” has some money? I doubt that though. No engagement ring that I’ve seen... Do we know what he does for a living?
