I say this as one who has not supported Cain in his quest for the nomination (nothing personal; certainly nothing ideological; but an electoral record consisting solely of losing [badly] a GOP primary Senate race did not make me think he was the best candidate). But I am absolutely convinced of Cain's innocence. His presentation tonight, so far, has been extraordinarily good.

Like many here, I'm still looking for NotMitt. I currently lean toward Newt (warts and all), but Cain is doing himself a lot of good this afternoon, and I am more inclined, not less, to consider voting for him by the time the NC Primary comes around.

I agree.

Did you catch this fantastic debate between Cain and Gingrich last Saturday night? Unfortunately, it has not gotten the press it so richly deserves.

(Audio probs at the beginning, but hang in there: it gets better and it's worth it.)
