“Sexual harassment is serious and not something I’ve tolerated under my leadership.”

“There was no legal settlement, no basis to any accusation of harassment. They were found to be baseless. There was an agreement between the NRA and her that ended up being a personnel decision.”

settlement and agreement...kind of reminds me of Slick Willy saying he ‘did not have sex with that woman’ and later saying he did not consider oral sex , ‘sex’...Semantics in my opinion. There was a legal ‘agreement’ whereby the NRA paid cash and Herman did not have to admit guilt.

Cain worked for the NRA for three years and there were two ‘settlements’. That troubles me. As a manager of over 25 years overseeing 100’s of employees in the workplace, I can say I have never had ONE complaint against me of sexual harassment.

And the first sentence Brett Bair said included the word “settlement”. There was no settlement. There was an agreement.
